This vice adheres well to my work bench stainless steel top. It’s a great light duty vice. Great little vice, however I DID have to add lock washers to the two screws on it, in order to keep them from vibrating out.

The suction of the base is extremely finicky, but I only really work with lightweight materials so it hasn't been too bad. The only issues I'm finding is I continuously have to try to get it to stay still while using my Dremel. Product is durable and I'll be using it for a while but I'm going to be replacing it eventually with one I can clamp to my workbench instead. ... show more

    • The suction doesn’t work well.
Pros: Small and compact Light Pretty versatile with the 360 degree rotation. Cons: The suction (which I used on a wooden table in the kitchen) did not stick for long at all. Had to keep reapplying the suction but since I wasn’t using anything heavy it didn’t really matter (I was using a padlock in the vice grip). Using a heavier type of item in the vice grip, with the poor suction, will probably end up being frustrating and moving around on you a lot. Also, the smell of the packaging and the item was pretty strong but wore off a few days later. ... show more

The plus is the vacuum holds really well. The negative is the shaft between the swivel ball and the vise grips broke the first time I used it. Going to look for something a bit more robust.

This is a good kitchen table vise for small projects. I do not think it would work as an every day workbench vise.

This would be a GREAT vise for me IF the top wouldn't wiggle so much. The reason it's wiggling so much is because the screw under the large bolt is loose, and there's no way to fit an allen wrench in there to tighten it. So, the vise is almost useless. The base sticks extremely well to the table The ball joint is really easy to use and helpful The vise closes tightly around the objects Unfortunately, the vise top also wiggles whenever I'm trying to hold something because that bolt is loose.
