I am SO happy I bought this mini casserole dish! I use my Sweejar 9x13 casserole dishes at least twice a week, sometimes more. I love the fact that they are dishwasher safe. I have had my 9x13 (bought 2 of them even!) for over 4 years and there is absolutely no wear and tear. They still look brand new, no chipping, glossy finish, amazing bakeware. I finally I have the 8x8 Sweejar casserole dish in green to match my others and I am SO HAPPY i bought it. I will use it to reheat my Souper cube 2 cup meals that I prep. This casserole dish is SO VERSATILE! I broil fish, bake chicken thighs and potatoes, braise meats, make lasagna (mini and regular size), make scalloped potatoes. I use them to bake brownies and quick cakes. They are heavy and that is a GOOD THING! They heat thoroughly, evenly, and consistently. The depth is perfect for any need you have. I use oil or a light spray on the bottom so they don’t stick too badly. But honestly, with a quick soak, you can put them straight into the dishwasher without any issues. It is the prefect size for my small Hamilton Beach Easy Reach toaster oven. It is easy to clean even if food gets baked onto it. I took a chance on this like-new baking dish and I am thrilled. It arrived promptly in its original packing with styrofoam padding. The size is perfect for my microwave with baking features, 9x13 doesn’t fit. Great for deep dish sweet or savory recipes. Durable material than cleans easily.
