Ordered 2 sets of these one set for front and one for the back. Installed the fronts no problem. I went to install the back and the plastic buckle broke and cut my thumb slightly. It concerns me that a plastic buckle broke when I wasn't even using it to pull myself into the jeep. The quality otherwise seemed ok. Received Replacement and straps aren't long enough for Rear JL Roll Bar. Very Disappointing! Wouldn't Recommend ... show more

I had bought some other straps last summer. After struggles with those to stay tight, the seams ripped out as our one friend was using it to climb in. All of them faded quickly and I really did not have the top off that often. These Alien ones..... wayyyyy better. Sturdy staps and velcro. Fastened well and not complicated. So far they have been fantastic without any complaint. Feel and look good and excellent holding strength. Things looked great in the beginning. They present well, and actually look great. That is until you try to install them. The straps barely fit around the factory rollbar in my JK Jeep. As I was attempting to install them, the plastic clips broke off on all but one. The last one didn't break, because I decided not to bother. To remedy the situation, I added a few extra inches on nylon strap, and replaced the cheap plastic clips with some nice metal ones. Now, the product works as it should have. ... show more

To begin with and probably where it should end. The straps are much too short for my 2013 Jeep Wrangler and barely fit. Once you do get them on they are week and pull off easily from massive strength of my 75lbs, 10 year old son. He must work out a lot because he is so strong. Anyway I would not purchase again or recommend people to buy them in the first place. They do look nice, although sitting in a box near my garbage makes them tough to admire. ... show more

I guess this has happen to a few others as well, but while tightening the strap the plastic broke and now unusable. The product seems sturdy and i may have gotten a defective product, but will never know at this point.
