The lids are what you need to know about. There are many containers like these on the market. It's the lids that are different. Most lids are cheap and break leaving you with good glass containers without lids which defeats the purpose of buying them. These lids are made different. You can open and close them without causing any damage to the clasp. They are perfect and made to last. They are also leak proof. Truly. They have a great seal system. this product has been a great addition, theyre really leak proof never fully tested but i used them for all sorts of things as meal prep and never had an issue once. i have dropped them and they held up. unfortunately my only gripe is the lids crack on the corners after a year ish but if thats the worst of it ill take it. if i could buy lids that would be super bc the glass is still perfect ... show more

They are stackable, but don't "nest" as much as I would have liked. Arrived without damage. The lids snap down tightly and unsnap easily, yet keep contents from leaking. I have no idea of why Costco and supermarkets sell annoyingly non-uniform sets of containers, because the diversity in their size is precisely what makes meal prep impossible. This product totally solves that problem. With an Instant Pot, these sets massively motivated me to meal-prep and effortlessly, even preferentially got me avoiding restaurants for literally months straight. My one warning is that if you put in hot food, seal it, and then immediately put it in the fridge, the top plastic will eventually warp downward due to the pressure. This effect is easily reduced or eliminated by either waiting for the food to come closer to room temperature before refrigerating, or just lightly setting the top on in the fridge without clamping down the sides. Other than this minor issue, it's flawless (and the glass is thick and can take a fall without cracking)! ... show more
