They're new retainer pin that's adjustable sucks. The holster itself is amazing. I really like the release button feature and has great retention. My big draw back is the thigh straps. No matter how tight I make them, after walking any longer than 5 min or running at all they slide down the pant leg. The only way I can seem to avoid it is make them so tight it practically cuts off circulation. In that case they cause your pants to bunch up around at the top of the straps. This seems could be fixed with making the whole strap the elastic material that is used on about 2 inches of the strap. Other big thing is although it makes it seem like it is easy peezy take it for a 30 day ride. It's not easy to return through amazon. You have to go to the alien gear website print out a form fill it out and ship it back in which you also have to pay for shipping. Def a pain in the arse. Lastly the instructions are pretty vague for making adjustments. I ended up calling for a little assistance. There you have it.

This is a very well thought out product that can be used with any pistol just by getting additional shells. Quick and easy to setup. The belt clips which swivel are genius. I didn’t realize they are circular but if you push on them they unclip. I could not find another drop leg holster for the sig p365. I’m glad I couldn’t because this one was well worth the money.

Just buy this. I'm an avid hunter, always in the woods and wanted to try a drop leg holster, as I carry a sidearm while in the woods. I will tell you I've tried several and found Alien Gears Shape Shifter to be the best. Holster retains weapon securely and the thumb release is a perfect design allowing an easy and fast, yet natural draw. Unbeatable for the price, don't let negative reviews keep you from purchasing.

The product appears to be nice BUT I ordered a holster for a S&W M&P 9mm 2.0 4.25 inch barrel large and I got a holster for a glock 19/20. My weapon doesn't fit all the way in so it doesn't engage the retention button and the weapon falls out.

Out of the box its amazing feels nice. But about a week of use the straps you use to adjust come loose and don't stay in its original settings at all. Holster in the other hand its really nice, fits my 1911 beautifully. Very disappointing really had high hopes.
