Bought this as a replacement for the one our Dog chewed up. He didn't just chew on the bottom corner or something like that. No he chewed the whole thing and somehow missed the batteries (thank goodness) Programing was so easy, it was almost like it was already programed. Now the dog has plenty of chew toys and we keep the remote out of reach of him. (no more issues)

When my fire stick remote died after 60 days of use, I wrote a bad review & Amazon scheduled a call with an excellent tech support person. She cdnt get the remote to work so they sent me another. It doesn’t work either, won’t even pair with the firestick. I tried to get another call from the tech person, but cd not, despite my responding to the tech person’s email. A very good general customer support person is now sending me yet another. Thank goodness the fire stick app on my phone works or we’d have no tv. I am very disappointed with this product, although the customer service is very good. Nothing much they can do about a flawed product.

Worked right out of box( after I put batteries in) turned tv on...my original remote that came with the fire tv never worked right and finally broke.. I couldn't turn on tv to program a different remote and there are no markings on tv of what brand it is... took a chance on this remote and it worked perfectly
