I got these to cover electrical cords in my house because my cat Menace, is indeed a menace. She chewed through the cord of my floor lamp rendering it useless by chewing it right against the brick/plug end leaving no way to strip back the wire sheath and reconnect it. She truly is a menace. Anyway, to save my other items from a similar fate I thought covering them with this tubing might do the trick. So far so good. I was concerned she would still chew it since the plastic is thinner and makes a bit of a crinkling sound when installing. As far for automotive use, idk, it’s probably fine. Anyway, my cat is a jerk. That is all.

This 1/4 wire loom worked great for cleaning up several wiring projects on my truck. It is a little thinner than some of the heavier duty loom I’ve used before, but it still does the job well and provides good protection for the wires. The split design makes it easy to install and route around tight areas, and it helps give everything a much cleaner and more professional appearance instead of having loose wires hanging around. It bends easily without kinking and cuts cleanly to length. Overall, it’s a good value and works well for automotive, trailer, marine, or general electrical projects where you want wiring to look neat and organized.

I purchased this Alex Tech split wire loom to clean up and protect wiring on a few automotive and garage projects, and it has worked out really well. I especially like that the package includes three different sizes—1/4", 3/8", and 1/2"—because I can choose the right size depending on how many wires I need to bundle together. The split design makes installation very easy. I can add it to existing wiring without disconnecting everything first, which saves a lot of time. Once the wires are inside, the loom gives everything a much cleaner and more organized appearance while also providing an extra layer of protection against rubbing and everyday wear. The material feels durable but is still flexible enough to route around bends and tighter areas. Having 10 feet of each size also gives me plenty of material for several projects rather than buying separate rolls. Overall, this is one of those inexpensive products that is really useful to keep around the garage. It makes wiring projects look more professional while helping protect the wires at the same time.
