So far it seems to be doing the job. Very lightweight. Not easy to put on the charger, but it is effective so far as far as a 4 month old kitten is concerned. Easier installation would be an improvement but it’s worth the fight to protect the cords and cables from a chewing kitten.

It is very challenging to cover the cord unless you can feed it through the cover. Tubing is very hard and near impossible to insert the cord.

You can easily cut this to the length you need. The lengthwise slit allows you to feed your cord into the protector. Since I used this on my phones charger cable, the diameter of the protector was too large and swallowed the two ends. Simply squeeze the tubing and tape it in place with some electric tape. You don’t need to tape the length of the protective tubing. The cord stays inside nicely even if you coil it up until needed. My cat destroyed two phone cords before I bought this. She’s left the new cord alone since I put this protector on. Now to protect all my other skinny cords. (She hasn’t bothered thicker electric cords, thankfully).

Alexa asked me for a review of which caught me off guard. I gave it 1 start which I didn't mean to do. I give this 5 stars. It keeps my cat from getting to all the wires in my house. This is exactly what I purchased it for. My only complaint is it is a little difficult to get the wire inside the plastic tube. I guess if it was easier there might be a chance that the wire could fall out of the tube. The wires will not fall out. I would and will purchase this product again. I have just a few more wires (computer) left to protect and all wires that my cat can get to will be protected.
