This is a really really beautiful dress. Yes, as you may have read in other reviews, it isn't hemmed. What I mean by that is that it doesn't have a sewn hem, it's just cut. This doesn't bother me at all. It's clean and doesn't make it look unfinished whatsoever. Still a very elegant dress! I got the wine color, and it's stunning! The only problems I have are: (1) It's way too long, for me anyway! Even with heels, I'll have to have it hemmed.... So, if I want the hem problem fixed, I'll do it then. Bear in mind, I am only about 5'1", so a taller lady may be fine with the length. (2) I feel like it runs large. I ordered a size 6, which is my normal size. I can definitely wear the 6, but I feel like a 4 would maybe look better on. If you're in between sizes, i'd recommend sizing down!

I choose this dress as MoB , loved the color and fit very comfortably. Ordered petit and did not need ANY alterations fit perfect. Fabric was a little heavy, but didn’t bother me. The only negative,as others have mentioned, was the cost and cut of fabric. Was just a straight cut no seems on front. But nothing that others even noticed when on or in pictures. I was happy with my purchase and look.

I bought this dress for my son’s wedding in September. I’m 57 y.o., 5’2”, 160lbs, 36C/D, and fair skinned. I ordered a 8P in Icy Orchid and it’s perfect. The material is very stretchy, almost like workout clothing but thicker. Yes, the seam is unfinished but isn’t real noticeable.

I wanted something a little fancier then the beading that was on there so I replaced it with this appliqué I found on Amazon and sewed it by hand. There is no hem so it would be inexpensive to adjust if needed. Worn for mother of bride.

The dress fits perfectly and is very comfortable. Only have to hem length which was expected because I am short. Material is just thick enough that you don't need to wear a bra or a slip. Feel very elegant.
