I got these for cosplay purposes. I got these for my Albert Wesker cosplay. It did have a fishy smell that smells unpleasant. I did turn them inside out and aired them out. I know the gloves are supposed to keep your hands warm since they have that material meant for that. But when I put them on, they feel SUPER itchy after a few seconds of wearing them. I’m not to sure if I’m the only one with this problem or maybe I have some sensory overload, but I hate the feeling. Even though, it’s just for a few seconds (the itchy-ness), I don’t like the sensation and I can’t sand it. Yes I know it’s supposed to keep you warm, but I’ll be at a convention and I don’t plan to take them off. I don’t know, I mean they seem to do the job. But I hate the texture on the inside. Maybe I’ll just get used to it eventually. I got the smallest they sold (small in this case) but they still fit loose (I knew this was gunna happen since these were meant for male/bigger hands but they still fit nonetheless).

These are beautiful dress gloves. The leather is soft and supple. But they are not warm. They do look great, though.

Cosplayer here! I tend to review stuff thoroughly/harshly in case other cosplayers are looking at reviews and need pros and cons from another cosplayer perspective. The problems I state might sound insignificant or nit-picky to most people, but to a cosplayer they are pretty important, and that's who I'm reviewing these things for! Visually, these gloves are lovely- they look pretty much exactly like the pictures. I use them for Resident Evil 8's Karl Heisenberg and Marvel's Doc Ock. They're very pretty and comfy when they're on, but I do have a couple of problems with them. First, when I remove the gloves, the entire inside comes out no matter what I do- trust me, I've tried every different way of taking them off that I can think of and it never fails. Then it takes forever to try and get the fingers of the insert back in the gloves, I've even had to have a few people help on several occasions and they were unable to get the insert back in because the lining is so thick. Second, the seam on the tip of the fingers is crazy bulky. You are able to type on a phone with them on, but you have to use the long-acrylic-nail method of typing. Even though my fingers are in the glove all the way, with the thick lining and the bulky seam, it's difficult to select the correct letters. I have to take the gloves off to deal with anything thin as well: money, business card, etc. Third, they are SUPER warm. I know they're meant to be warm, but I've been out to the RenFest in close-to freezing temperatures wearing these and my hands were sweating like crazy (which makes the problem of taking them off even more difficult). If you're wearing these inside a convention center with a costume (that is probably already hot), these gloves will be very impractical without some sort of barrier between your skin and the lining. Maybe wear rubber gloves under them? Overall, I do recommend these gloves, they are visually stunning, BUT keep in mind what's been said about the lining. I REALLY wish these could come with an option of no-lining or to somehow sew the lining to the fingertips to keep it stable because it's really aggravating. I think I'm going to have to cut the lining out because I can't afford to be in the middle of a convention, having to take my gloves off to get money out for something then struggling to get out of peoples' ways, trying to maneuver my prop and merchandise while I try to shove the gloves somewhere because I can't put them back on without having to stand there and use a pen to shove each finger of the insert back into the glove.

Man I’m just being completely honest I’m a aircraft technician and work outside I bought these for winter thinking they be just another cheap pair that keep me warm but has no dexterity use I was wrong I love these glove’s honestly best gloves I even used outside of disposable gloves for my work it’s literally the best investment I made I can grab and use my fingers like I’m wearing nothing with them on the wear in a little of course but have held up great to skydrol and turbine oil (both breaks down all materials) these gloves are holding up strong to heavy use so much Im being additional two pair for my friends in the field for the same job you won’t regret having a pair of these gloves

So far I really like these gloves. The lining is comfortable and I'm still able to use my smartphone screen (with only minimal issues). And they've been warm in cold conditions. The size runs just a bit small. The inside lining can pull out, so you need to pull them off with care. But my one gripe: they smell (like fish)! I'm on my third pair (first was sent back because they were too small, 2nd I lost). All 3 made my hands smell when I pulled them off. I haven't tried washing or treating them yet, but straight out of the pack, they cause my hands to stink. Otherwise, they've been great. I'll definitely buy them again.
