For starters, I like these markers and I think they would make an excellent collection for a budding artist to be. They are obviously not intended to be high-end art markers and the price reflect that - at this price you couldn't get a set of 8, much less 120 markers. However, these are excellent markers for this price point and make a great starting place. The color selection is pretty wide and you even get one colorless blender and a surprising number of greys (8 cool and 10 warm). The cap color, while not exact, is fairly representative of what you will get on decent quality white paper. The tips are decent quality and should withstand normal usage as long as care is taken on the amount of applied pressure. The cloth carry case is actually pretty decent for a set at this price point and the removable plastic trays at the base help with maintaining organization. So, if your looking for an inexpensive marker set to get a beginner, this is a good pick. The color names are odd compared to what those name normally look like in terms of color. Its not as much a hindrance if you choosing from cap color. Although, as mentioned the caps sometimes off too. I found that the lighter the shade, the less accurately the cap would match my swatch. The numbering system on the cap is internal to this company and, as far as I can tell, has no real informative use for comparing to markers from other manufacturers. The markers ship completely unorganized with seemingly no rhyme or reason for placement. If feels like they just place a random set of 120 markers into the plastic grid. It also makes me wonder if I would get the same 120 markers if I ordered a second set. I case anyone else has that same question, my set (using their numbering) included: 0, 1-13, 17, 21-29, 31-38, 41-49, 52, 54, 56-59, 61, 63-71, 74-76, 81-84, 87, 89, 91-95, 97-100, 104, 109, 120, 131-133, 135-138, 140-141, 143-145, 147, 163, 169, 171-173, 175, 178, 179, 182, 183, 185 as well as Cool Greys CG0.5, CG1-CG5, CG7, CG9 and Warm Greys WG0.5, WG1-WG9 - I would love to know if this is consistent across purchases.

I’ve never used alcohol markers but the tik tok girlies made me do it… I didn’t want to spend 100 on a really fancy set and after searching decided on this one. Now I’ve never used alcohol markers before so I don’t have anything to compare them to but I think they are great. The colors are vibrant and as long as you properly use them they are not streaky. I would never recommend!
