The only problem is opening them. The little covered needle works pretty good but many times ink squirts out when removing it. I have had many sets like this and it is the same for all. I do not squeeze the bottle while doing this (I hold it at the top). Many bottles have some ink in the stem and tapping it does not make it go down. The metal inks work well in resin and I was really thrilled about that. The colors are vibrant but some mix better than others with the resin. I noticed that I would have to use more drops the achieve a certain color with some inks. I did not feel that they were good to use when I tried to get them to sink with the sinker white, and some would not sink unless I pocked the resin and ink with a toothpick. Easy to figure out for first time users. I bought these to do an art project with my coworkers. I watched a few videos online for some technique tips and these worked great for all of them. My only minor complaint was trying to get the tips open. It came with "poppers" but sometimes they did not line up correctly and it got a little messy. Also make sure you shake them thoroughly before using them as they settled quite a bit. I would definitely buy these again though. If you goof up, they are easy to wipe off of sealed (shiny) ceramic with alcohol and start over. They sealed well with 1-2 coats of spray-on varnish and don't wash off after that. ... show more
