This works great for me! My mom is allergic to a lot of things and she hates to take a pill so, this is pretty perfect for her and my dad is not allergic to anything really however, sometimes, after he mows our lawn he gets itchy eyes and a stuffy nose but after he takes one of these, his symptoms all but go away after about 1h to 20 minutes. I have not had a cold in a long time but when I always would take an Alavert on top of whatever cold pill I took and that combo helped me a lot. Another side note: I get mucus along with sinus gunk so, I looked it up and it is safe to take Alavert with a mucus reducer. Just make sure to drink more water than normal with that combo because, it drys you out. ... show more

I have purchased this product many times before, the active ingredient is the same as other products but I find the chewable part to be easy to use when you’re having allergies and you don’t have water to take a pill.

Currently (29Mar2022) there are 4 Dairy Free allergy meds that I can have. And this one is dissolvable and works within an hour or less of taking it. Highly recommend if dairy is a concern for you.

    • Alavert is a great product that has worked for me for 10 years!
I’ve been taking an Alavert daily for the last for the last 10 years. I’ve tried others but they actually make me feel worse. I’ve realized some of the things that work for me don’t work for my wife and vice versa. What I didn’t like was that if I wanted them in a couple days, they were $8 a box more, otherwise they would have come in about a week.
