I love this throne! This throne is the same quality as Roc-N-Soc, but for less money. I like all the colors, but I got this blue one to match my transparent blue stained Pearl Session Custom Maple kit. The beautiful blue velvet/suede seat is soft and plush enough to play for hours with no butt pain or excessive sweat puddles, like happens with leather seats. The pieces are heavy-duty double braced steel, and they fit together easily for assembly. The gas piston seems solid and stays where it is set, and the throne is very sturdy with no seat wobble. The seat height can be adjusted from 16.7" to 22.5" with the gas lever, so it's good for younger/shorter or older/taller people. This throne is a jewel and a bargain. It completes my kit.

I use this throne for my guitar practice, and it works perfectly. Simple lever to adjust the height which changes when playing acoustics versus electrics of different kinds. Instantly adjusts to balance guitars on my knees at the perfect height to keep my back straight and comfortable. Swivels smoothly as I reach out for different foot pedals. Seat is very comfortable for multiple hours and holds up well to my 220lbs. I am very happy with it and glad that I saved a bunch versus comparable thrones at music stores. 5 stars all day for this throne.

Great stool! It’s comfortable and a lot less money than buying it from a music store. The rubber feet really help nail this stool to the floor even when you are playing “Hot for Teacher” (shameless Van Halen plug). It doesn’t roll or drift at all. I have a spinal injury, and it the cushion is supportive and is comfortable for my spine. It’s a must have for every drummer!

Sturdy and comfortable. Looks like more expensive brand but don’t know its longevity. At 6’2”, My only complaint it doesn’t go as high as I anticipated. The added comfort over the traditional round seat is a bonus so Learning to play from a slightly lower seat position.

I'm just a tad over 250 lb and this throne is excellent I don't think I really needed the back support but one thing that I really appreciate is I can be going hard for several sets and by the end of the night that drum thrown has not dropped down at all. It does have the gas shock so it allows for a little bit of bounce movement but it's very well calibrated so The rebound feels natural. As far as how warm the rear end gets while performing is a bit complicated It really depends on the venue. If you are in a well-ventilated temperature controlled facility For example an indoor venue absolutely no noticeable rear end heat that was increased due to the throne itself. I feel that this has also reduced fatigue as well. I absolutely do not mean to sound crude for this suggestion, I feel like there should be an optional throne cut so if you are of male genetics instead of having an increase in the throne a nice pocket of decrease would be off the chain straight up excellence because that is an area that with a lot of movement side to side face it percussion well it is labor intensive again depending on the venue. I feel this was worth every penny, I feel that the functionality has surpassed my expectations, just add an optional recessed area near the groin of a male genitalia in relation to the design of the throne please for the love of God please! Oh I almost forgot to mention for the people who have large muscular thighs the cut out design on this throne allows for very nice movement no numbness or tingling after many hours and like I said it's decreased fatigue.

First the good features. The throne is comfortable and very sturdy. The adjustable height works very well and I am a larger person near but not yet over the 300 lb capacity. It also looks good. The picture is on my porch for better lighting. However there might be some aluminum parts, but it seems heavier than my other two Gibraltar thrones. But the other great features more than out weigh the one knock.

Heavy duty, comfortable, doesn't bounce like some hydro seats, stays sold. Great buy for the money. I play every weekend and it has really jas been a great look for the kit. Also nice because I don't slide around on the seat like I used to with my slick surfaced seat.9
