If you don't want to read, here is the short review. Great value for great sound, and worth the buy. Long review- I got the double pedal option. Kit wise, love it, great samples. I really liked the hi-hats setup and comparing to a VAD504, I felt that these were less buggy as a hi-hat. (which is why I like this kit even more) The customization for samples is awesome, they sound great and I was very impressed. Hardware- little bit of a mix feeling but just be gentle when bolting stuff together, nothing broke on me but the plastic joints were a bit warped but gently bolting up worked just fine. Foot pedals are great quality and look like brushed aluminum and look awesome. Double pedals are very functional, just a bit of calibration. Pad and cymbals were nice and responsive. There is only one negative about this kit that I found. For me, the ride cymbal bell trigger is spotty with responsiveness because the strike zone is so narrow that when I would hit the bell, more often then not, it wouldn't trigger. Yes, it was plugged in correctly. But really considering price, the value of this really makes me happy.

I have been looking at many different e-drum kits from several manufactures and I am extremely happy with the Aklot 541D kit I purchased. It was easy to assemble , the instructions were perfect and there even was a hardcopy manual included. Hardware is top notch ( I have looked at and played on other sets ). The drum module is easy to use and has more features than I can ever use ( so far ). The sound is fantastic ( so many choices ). The feel of the drums and cymbals are practically the same as on my acoustic set. And on top of all that the price is hundreds less than comparable sets and stacks up well against the very expensive “big brand” sets. A great value. Plus their customer service is wonderful. I had a question about accessories and they responded the quickest I’ve ever experienced from a company. Where have they been hiding? I’m using the kit as a portable replacement for my very vintage and too large to move around acoustic kit.

Got this as a Christmas gift for the family. My husband used to lay drums in a band long ago and he was thrilled with this set up. My 7yr old daughter also loves jamming on the drum set. Nice quiliy, good sounds, performes well. Also great for beginners and I'd say those with experience as well. The cost wasn't too bad, though the only thing I'd grip about is I wish it came with an amp. Even a small one so we can here the drum sound out loud and not just on the headphones. We did hook up a small booth tooth speaker but it would be better with an amp. Overall we love it!

This drum kit is amazing! All drums are fully customizable and sound just like an acoustic kit. The most remarkable thing about AKLOT is their customer service. I had several questions, since this is my first electronic drum kit. AKLOT customer service representatives responded to my questions in a timely manner, even on the weekends. Representatives are polite, courteous and knowledgeable. I had an issue with the bell on my ride cymbal and they corrected it immediately; sending me a replacement cymbal.
