Love love love these new tights! There are a couple of things I judge about tights: 1. Thickness These are a perfect thickness. Sometimes you get tights that end up feeling more like nylons than actual tights. But you also want that "stretch factor" and not for them to bunch up and look like sloppy pants with feet on them. These nail the perfect tight thickness. For me, they kept me warm while giving that sleek tights look under a skirt. 2. Waistband support There is nothing worse than a great feeling pair of tights starting to slide down after a couple of hours of wear. I experience this so many times and it's so uncomfortable! Usually the tights just get tossed because I hate that feeling so much! These stayed in place all day and also didn't cut off circulation anywhere. They're great! 3. Washability and longevity These tights wash up nicely. They do not become pilled or stretched and they maintained a slightly silky feel. I picked up the black size small/x-small. According to the size chart, they are true to size. I am 5'4” and weigh 130 lbs. They are very comfortable and seem to be made well and will last through the season. These are thick and very opaque black, perfect for wearing under a short skirt on a cold day. These tights are sturdy and will not run however they are not exactly one size fits all. I put them on, and they covered a great portion of my midsection, but the thigh stretch bands fit uncomfortably on my upper thigh area near my private.

These are excellent quality black tights from akiido. I got a pair in XL-XXL, because I am tall and leggy and the tights fit me perfectly. I normally get Large tights, so I would recommend sizing up from what you usually wear. They are 80-denier and are *very* black, so they are handy for days when you don’t have time to shave your legs - nobody will ever know! Even better, they feel fantastic on freshly-shaved legs. The nylon is soft and comfortable next to my skin. They are suitable for both the office and the nightclub; they add a touch of class to any ensemble - and all for a lower price than more well-known brands. Recommended. ... show more

Ordered for and comments from my wife: I recently had the opportunity to try out a pair of pink semi-opaque tights. At first, I was really happy with how thick and soft these tights were, plus they were super easy to slide into. However, as I wore them, some issues popped up. The main problem was that they were too long for my legs, causing them to bunch up at my ankles. There was excess material at the toe that didn't just look awkward; it felt awkward. And disappointingly, they got a run in the toe after just wearing them for about three hours. For context, I'm 5'8" and weigh 136 lbs, and the size I received was a medium. Pros: - Thick and soft material. - Easy to put on. Cons: - Poor fit in terms of leg length, leading to bunching. - Too much material at the toe. - Developed a run in the toe area quickly. ... show more

Got these for wearing with several outfits during the colder months where I wanted to wear something on my legs without wearing a set of leggings. I can put these on with my knee boots and still be comfortable. I did order up in size so there was just a smidge more give to them so that they stayed more opaque and warmer. I'll still have to be careful with snags but they're still thick enough were they aren't as fragile as regular pantyhose. Hi everyone! This came nicely packaged and even vacuumed sealed which I appreciate. When I opened the package, I thought that I had ordered a kid's size because it looks tiny in the waist! I was seriously worried that this was designed for a little girl's ballerina performance. But no, I slipped it on, and it fits! It's very high waisted, and lands above my belly button. I'm 118lbs, 5'4", and a size 4 in jeans. It's slightly on the long side for me, but definitely still wearable and looks good. I think it'd stretch to fit taller ladies as well. The material feels like it'll hold up and won't get runs for a while as long as you take proper care of them. I think it's a bit on the opaque side for me and that may be because I'm shorter, so the material doesn't stretch out as much. It's more see through around the waist area on me. Soft, thick, and very stretchy. I prefer semi-opaque for the office. These tights are holding up wonderfully after several wears and washes. Air dry for longevity. I’m very satisfied with the quality.
