Priced right and installed easily, this hood range worked nicely for my kitchen remodel. This is one of the few hood ranges in its class without a loud manufacture logo stamped on front. This this moves some serious air! After installing I still had the ladder up to the vent by hand. WOW! I have complete confidence in this thing extracting well with even the most intense pan sears. Also very quiet on the low settings for scenarios requiring mild extract. White led lights compliment the stove well and the buttons have a nice, smooth actuation.     • Nice vent hood. Works well, but the LED lights don't last.

I would expect LED lights to last forever, but these don't. On a positive note, they are easy to replace but the ones you'd replace them with are not likely to last either. I cannot find a link anywhere on the listing to contact the seller for replacement lights so I may have to solder up a set myself. Thy are easy to take apart and there is a little round PCB with nine LEDs in it. They must be wired in parallel because mine didn't go out all at once, it started getting dim, then went completely out a few days later. I suspect they use low-quality LEDs in it. If I cannot find pop-in replacements, then I'll have to wire up a set of LEDs for it myself. Update: I de-soldered the board from the connector pigtail and soldered the pigtail to a high-quality 12V automotive LED side marker light that fit nicely inside the housing. I then put the side-marker bulb inside the housing and screwed it all back together, and now have LED lights that will last upwards of 30,000 hours. The side marker light was a little warmer in color than the other still-working LED light, so I took it apart and replaced the guts in it with another, matching side marker light. Now they both match and should last about... forever. As I was doing this I noticed that there is a little board mounted component that had come de-soldered from the original LED board and was rattling around inside the housing. I presume that's what is causing these LED failures. I presume that part gets hot enough to eventually break apart that surface mount solder and eventually create a dead circuit. ... show more
