I mean, being a first timer, I don't have much to go on. What is up with this pump? I've never in my life seen a pump where the hose attaches to the handle top. And I almost have to sit on the handle to get close to the recommended pressure. There were no instructions in the packaging so I had to figure out how that pump works. As for getting on it the first time. I'm a 5-day a week CrossFit Athlete and getting up on the board was pretty easy but it really doesn't seem very stable. Maybe that comes with time. For my first board, it seems to be working out ok, but that pump!!!

Edit: my stand up paddleboad is still in excellent condition. Customer service responded to my review and were excellent!! Changing my review to 5 stars for excellent customer service! Great stand up paddle board. I love the actually board. My problem was with the guage on the pump that came with it did not work. The needle wouldn't move. I read in other reviews that customer service was great and they sent out a new working pump to others if this was the case. I was tossed around by customer service left and right. They did not want to send me a new fully functioning pump. The most they offered was $10. After too much hassle and time on my part they agreed to send out a new one. The new one came in a plastic package that was too small for it. No protective packaging around the gauge. In fact, the entire guage part of the pump was outside of the shipping bag because it could not fit... My mind was blown!! And of course now I'm stuck with two pumps and no working gauge. The gauge would make the product so much easier to use. Can't tell you how many times I put the board in the water thinking I pumped it up enough just to bring it back in and pump and try it again.

We bought two of these. When we first set them up we were very disappointed as it seemed that while the boards were fully inflated it was impossible to tell the PSI because the gauges didn’t move at all, we thought they were faulty. We later found out from an experienced paddle boarder that our boards weren’t inflated hardly at all and when we did continue to pump even though we thought they were full the gauges did eventually move and work just fine. So if you’re new to paddle boarding and you try these keep pumping until it is extremely hard to do so and you should see the gauge working properly so you can get it to the right pressure. I originally gave these one star because of what I thought were faulty gauges. Now that we have a clue so far these seem to be great for the money we spent and we are very happy. Hope this helps someone else, this is information I would have liked to have our first time out. Also, if they aren’t inflated properly they are difficult to navigate, even though they appear completely full.

I can't be 100 percent accurat. PROS: It seamed nice when filled with air, material seamed sturdy. NO LEAKING AROUND THE FILLUP AIR CAP AND AROUND OTHER SEAMS. CONS: 1. HOUSE ON PUMP COULD BE UPGRADED TO A BETTER PRODUCT. 2. GAGE ON PUMP WAS NOT WORKING COULD HAVED BEEN PACKAGED SEPARATELY WHEN SHIPPED. 3. STRAPS ON CARRYING BACKPACK UPGRADES AND ADDED CROSS THE CHEST STRAP WITH CLIPS. MY INPUT ON THIS PRODUCT IS BASED ON WHAT KNOLAGE I KNOW AND JUST BASED ON THAT I TOOK A RISK ON BUYING AND ORDERING THIS NAME BRAND INFLATABLE STAND UP PADDEL BOARD. I GOT LUCKY THAT I DID NOT HALF TO DILL WITH SENDING BACK PROSSESS. THIS IS MY FIRST PADDLE BORD I COULD AFFORD ON MY BUDGET I CAN'T WATE TILL SUMMER TO TRY IT OUT.

EDIT: I ordered two paddle boards from this company, and the paddle boards are both great, super stable and high quality. Super happy with them. When I initially received the products, one of them came with a pump that had a gauge that was completely unresponsive, and the metal attachment on the metal paddle/oar was so bent, I couldn’t slide the top part in all the way. The pump and the oar that came with the other set were fine. The company sent me a new oar and pump! Super happy with their customer service.
