I bought the AKASO Brave 7 LE a few weeks ago to start a YouTube motovlogging channel as a hobby, and it completely lives up to the advertising. It is more than enough for what I need. The image stabilization works great—it smooths out the normal riding vibrations perfectly, though the big bounces are still there but that is expected. At this price point, it’s the perfect starter camera for anyone launching a channel.The only thing I'm still figuring out is the sound. On some of my videos, I get a white noise background sound. I managed to fix it by tweaking some settings, but after leaving the battery out for about two days, the camera must have reset and the noise came back. I don't remember exactly what I changed to silence it, but nothing a little research can’t fix! As for the two batteries, I can’t say if it last long. For me it doesn’t; but, I link it to my phone via the camera WiFi connection while recording in the best mode with the stabilization system on. So I am asking a lot of the battery. I always go through both batteries on a single ride. I am planning on purchasing extra batteries and chargers to fix this issue that I am causing. Overall, if this camera gets lost, stolen, or damaged, I will not hesitate to purchase it again.

This has been so much fun. We have taken it out on hikes and bird watches. It works perfectly. It is easy to set up and use. The battery lasts about 2 hours of constant filming, which is great for our nature walks. It clips them in small chunks and that has helped us single out what we are looking for. Overall it is a wonderful purchase and I will be recommending this to my friends and family.

Video quality is good. Way too many adapters for what I need which is not included. I feel like an idiot trying figure out these adaptors. By the time you realize you don't have the part you need you've already built a Jenga tower. I just want to simply mount my camera on my chest harness. Is that too much to ask? Other than that battery power is decent but sucks in negative temps. I'm being generous with 4 stars but it is does produce pretty good quality video.

It’s been great so far. I use it for woodworking, playing pool, pool parties, and camping, and it handles everything well. Outdoor video quality is very good, and indoors is acceptable. Battery life is excellent. I keep this in my car for whenever I need it, and I rarely have to charge it before use. The remote control makes recording really easy, especially when the camera is mounted. It’s also very beginner-friendly. I also really like the front-facing screen. It makes it much easier to position the camera correctly, especially when it’s mounted high or near a wall, and you can’t see the main screen.

I'm really happy with this camera so far. I have been using it to record my son's volleyball games. The video quality, even on a lower setting, is good. The battery life is outstanding. After 3 sets there was still about half a battery charge remaining, which beats the battery on the other camera (GoPro Hero 11) that I was using by a mile. Video quality wise, I was using a lower setting which was okay, but not great. I would use a higher quality setting next time. The menu system is fairly intuitive and easy to use. The price is quite reasonable. I'll probably buy another one or go up to the next level camera which is still cheaper than a GoPro.

Bought this for a trip to Kauai. Researched many different models in the weeks prior to this purchase--watched and read reviews. Almost returned it before the trip and abandon the idea of having an action camera at all. I didn't want to spend as much as a GoPro due to all the issues users report on those. I'm really glad I decided to keep it and use it. This camera and accessory kit worked perfectly for my needs. I used it mainly for snorkeling and got an abundance of fish and turtle photos and videos. It was very easy to use underwater in the waterproof case, switching between modes, which is what I wanted. A small complaint is with all the little accessory pieces that come with the kit. It isn't intuitive on what they're for or how to use them. In AKASO's defense, their pdf user guide names each piece, but doesn't specifically say how to use them. Also, I didn't have a lot of time to really figure out what each thing was for. I wasn't looking for a professional level camera, so this one worked great for my needs. I'm only going to use it for travel and mostly water-related photos, so this is great. It performed great and was at a great price. I didn't spend a lot of time looking at or changing settings, so it was mostly out out-of-the-box settings.
