Phenomenal for the price point!
Set name: 64GB MicroSD Card Bundle
When I first started researching action cameras for my vlog, I quickly realized how expensive the top-tier brands can be. After digging through several options, the Akaso Brave 7 LE stood out as a quality choice that actually fit my budget, and after putting it to use, I can say it is an incredible value if you take a little time to learn how to use it right. The dual-screen setup is a total game changer for vlogging because having that front-facing color screen makes framing solo shots so much easier without any guesswork. While the footage is sharp right out of the camera, I was also impressed by how easy it was to edit things like color with just a slight tweak in post-production. The sensor holds onto enough detail that you can really make the colors pop or adjust the mood of a scene without much effort. To get the best results, I recommend sticking to the 4K/30fps setting to keep the stabilization smooth and ensuring you have plenty of natural light. It is a rugged, weather-resistant workhorse that comes with a great accessory kit, including two batteries which is a huge plus for longer filming days. If you are looking for a reliable, budget-friendly entry into vlogging, this camera is a fantastic choice once you become accustomed to its settings. ... show more

Great action camera!
Set name: Selfie Stick Tripod Bundle
Received the AKASO Bravo 7 LE camera over a week ago. So far it has been very easy to use. Able to quickly connect it via WiFi to my phone and control it. The video stability control is pretty good (off by default). Took it with me in a couple of walks using the clip to attach to my back pack strap. Battery lasted for about 1 hr recording at 4K60fps which I will manage when going in trips. Wrist-mounted remote control was very handy. Connected with the online community for great user support. It is definitively meeting my expectations for an action camera in this price point. Looking forward to take it to our upcoming trip to the Utah National Parks and our next cruise to the Caribbean when snorkeling. ... show more

4k seems like a straight up lie
Set name: 64GB MicroSD Card Bundle
4k looks more like 720p. Quality seems fine and it comes with a case for protection and some things on the side (was on sale so same as without a package) that might be useful. Didn’t like how on both the mounts that have double sided tape are flat as most helmets are not a “flat smooth” type of surface. Should be good for the money, didn’t realize how easy it was to use as you can just click on the screen. Got this instead of the DJI 4 but will mostly get the camera in about a year. Haven’t heard the sound but if possible I’ll get an external mic for it and yes it’ll work with it. Another good thing is that it comes with two batteries and has a charger as a one for both, this should help incase one dies for longer rides. It does come with a SD card that is 64 gigs but I bought a 256gb that should be able to record for about 8 hours at that supposed “4k”. I’ll try and record once I get my bike and put it into the review. ... show more

Great & Easy to Use Camera
Set name: 64GB MicroSD Card Bundle
After doing a bit of research I bought this camera specifically to accompany me in my snorkeling adventures. It arrived the night before I was planning to go snorkeling. I left the batteries charging overnight and the next morning quickly set up everything. It easily took me less than 30 minutes to get it all set up and working and this was my first time using this type of action camera. I would definitely recommend this camera, I'm extremely satisfied with the quality of the underwater videos I took and how easy it was to set up and use. It was also very easy to toggle between video and picture mode underwater. Some of the reviews mention that filming eats up the battery. In my experience it was decent, I filmed around 10 videos ranging between 1 minute and 4 minutes each, and also took some pictures in the span of 6 hours that I was at the beach, and by the end the battery was in red, but considering what I read I was pleased with the performance. ... show more

Even better than I expected
Set name: Floating Grip Bundle

I purchased this exclusively for diving, just got my son certified and wanted to be able to film some of his first dives. This camera takes great videos and pictures, even in the northeast where summer visibility is less than 10 ft at 30ft depth. The kit has everything you need and stuff I may never use. 2 batteries and charger, usb-c cable for transfer to a pc and charging. The waterproof housing and the float grip works amazing for an beginner underwater photographer, but you will not as stable as a to handed dive rig. Photos come out great and videos come out great, the stabilization and dive mode definitely help out. I use free software to help color correct photos after a dive, namely darkroom for photos and capture. Or Adobe light room from my phone for a quick touchup. ... show more

Perfect for your child who wants to vlog (YouTube content)
Set name: 64GB MicroSD Card Bundle
I bought the AKASO Brave 7 LE a few weeks ago to start a YouTube motovlogging channel as a hobby, and it completely lives up to the advertising. It is more than enough for what I need. The image stabilization works great—it smooths out the normal riding vibrations perfectly, though the big bounces are still there but that is expected. At this price point, it’s the perfect starter camera for anyone launching a channel. The only thing I'm still figuring out is the sound. On some of my videos, I get a white noise background sound. I managed to fix it by tweaking some settings, but after leaving the battery out for about two days, the camera must have reset and the noise came back. I don't remember exactly what I changed to silence it, but nothing a little research can’t fix! As for the two batteries, I can’t say if it last long. For me it doesn’t; but, I link it to my phone via the camera WiFi connection while recording in the best mode with the stabilization system on. So I am asking a lot of the battery. I always go through both batteries on a single ride. I am planning on purchasing extra batteries and chargers to fix this issue that I am causing. Overall, if this camera gets lost, stolen, or damaged, I will not hesitate to purchase it again. ... show more

Fantastic budget option for the budding travel videographer who loves watersports!
Set name: Floating Grip Bundle
This little camera is a powerhouse that fits right in your pocket! I've mainly used it snorkeling in the Bahamas. My kids love using the camera with its handgrip to record themselves jumping in the pool and playing around underwater. We've used it with and without the dive case and have had no problem at all with water damage. It's been a lot of fun this summer and I look forward to using it in the snow with the kids over winter break as well. Pro tip: keep both batteries charged, you never know when they'll die. At this price point, I would definitely recommend before going with a pricier action cam. I would love to upload a better video but everything has my family's faces in them. This is a school of fish on a beach lagoon, shot before I adjusted the settings. Maybe the next time we go on an adventure I'll think of this review. ... show more
