Good action cam but with a few caveats I've been using the Action Cam for a few months now, and I've been mostly happy with it. It's a great little camera for capturing action shots, and it's very durable. I've taken it hiking, biking, and even skiing, and it's held up well. However, there are a few things I don't like about the Action Cam. First, the battery life is not great. I can only get about an hour of recording time on a single charge. Second, the image quality is not as good as I was hoping for. The videos are a bit grainy, especially in low-light conditions. Overall, I would recommend the Action Cam to anyone who is looking for a durable and affordable action camera. However, if you are looking for the best image quality, you may want to consider a different camera. My dog and I walk in the woods every day and I have been frustrated with trying to take pictures with my phone. I've wanted a gopro kind of video camera for ages but they are so expensive. Then I stumbled upon this little gem and had to try it out. Trying to take pictures while my dog wants to go inspect things at the other end of the leash has meant I haven't even bothered trying to take pictures of anything. I'm really happy with it! It was easy to get started, to get the memory card formatted, etc. I can't believe how tiny it is. But it seems pretty capable for what it is. I like the image stabilization, and I'm glad I got the pro version so I can have an external mic. The built in one picks up mainly me fiddling with the camera, lol, but that might be a setting that I haven't gotten to. I haven't tried the remote control you wear on your wrist. And I like that if it's recording video, after a set time it will stop the video and automatically start a new recording, so they aren't too long. It came with 2 rechargeable batteries which is really nice. So basically, it's affordably priced, comes with straps and a waterproof case and 2 batteries, and even more stuff, is really easy to use, and seems to do a decent job. It has image stabilization, which is better than my phone. The app is not that great. It crashes a lot but I don't really need it since it has a touch screen on the back. Overall, I'm thrilled that I found this teeny action camera!

For the price, this camera is pretty incredible. I've been very impressed with the image quality, the stabilization and pleased with all the extra kit that came with it. I've used it swimming, snorkeling, diving down to about 15 meters, attached to a bike and on a hand held stick. The waterproof case is great, the underwater footage is ok (small sensor so not great low light) but is fine with an external light, and it's pretty easy to use. 2 things I don't like which drop a star. One, the selfie screen on the front of the camera is kind of a joke. Very dim, poor color, difficult to see. It's a gimmick, nothing more. 2. every time you swap the batteries you have to reset all of the date and time settings which is irritating as heck.

Bought the Brave 4 Pro for our 2024 Galapagos sailing trip. Overall I was very impressed with its capabilities and price point (compared with GoPro). There is a small learning curve to navigate and control settings. Captured snorkeling video with and without the Dive filter (better with filter on) and with the optional floating mount. Also took video and photos on island outings using the 360degree clip to backpack strap. And yes, an accessories kit is pretty much needed. This Brave 4 Pro did not come with an SD memory card. I purchased a 128GB high speed (U3) Scandisk only to learn that the max memory size supported is 64GB. The 128GB does work in the Brave 4 Pro, but I suspect it only uses the first 64GB. Also learned from the instructions that video is shot in 4GB blocks. These memory facts were not mentioned anywhere in the Amazon description of the product. Used the WIFI mode to view videos/photos on an iPad using the Akaso GO app. It worked fine, but the app is geared for the iPhone and does not take advantage of the larger iPad screen size. I did not download videos/photos to the iPad (not enough memory). Also purchased a 1T SSD drive to offload from the Brave 4 Pro. This path requires a PC. It would be nice if the Brave 4 Pro could write to an external SSD drive directly. Likes: * Small size. * Lower price point. * 170degree adjustable viewing angle. * Operating battery time > 1hour. * Really nice video and photo quality. Dislikes: * None found to date (have not tried all the features like electronic image stabilization and time lapse). Surprises: * Max SD storage size is 64GB. * Video is taken in up to 4GB chunks.

Camera took nice photos and clear underwater videos. Starting and stopping video was easy, but the screen was difficult to view with a snorkel mask underwater. The buttons are firm and its easy to feel when you've pressed them adequately to start or stop the video. Don't judge the quality of the videos by the viewing screen. Clarity and color are fantastic once you display the media on a laptop of tv screen. Waterproof case was solid and completely water tight. Even brief dives to 30+ ft. didn't cause any leakage. Battery life was adequate, but have an extra battery charged and ready so you don't miss any action.
