I wanted Akalukk Shower Steamers because showers are always better when they smell nice. The peppermint steamers smelled nice and also included a bag to hang the steamer in a convenient location which was nice because no other brand we've ordered has done that.

If you like to smell things while you shower, this may be for you. These are pretty nice, and very powerful in terms of scent. If you're looking for a blast of peppermint while you shower, well here you go. These also last a decent amount of time as well, so much so that you may have the very last bits left at the end of a shower. Overall, nice to add some peppermint to your daily shower routine.

Do you love the lavender? These are the shower steamers for you. They will make your entire bathroom, bedroom, and hallway smell like lavender just by unwrapping them. Do you hate the smell of lavender? These are not the shower steamers for you. They will make your entire bathroom, bedroom, and hallway smell like lavender just by unwrapping them. I gave these a try with my morning shower and there's no doubt they smell like lavender. I can smell them from across the hall while I'm writing this review. If the smell weren't so potent they'd be great, but honestly even if you are a lavender fanatic they're a bit much.

The seller included a mesh bag with a suction cup on the drawstring, so I placed one steamer in it and stuck the bag to my shower wall out of the way of the water stream. The shower steam took effect pretty quickly, and the steamer pellet started releasing a mild lavender scent. At the end of a 20 minute shower, the steamer seemed intact, so I've left it in place.
