Bought muslin to line a crocheted bag. I didn't wash the muslin first and just used it for the project. Sews well and fairly thick. It's beige color and very neutral. Does not smell. The muslin arrives stiff. After washing, drying, and ironing it has good, full body drape. I used regular detergent to remove sizing and finishes. I posted before and after pics.
