Updated 11/3/25 My confidence in Aizmozia and their 17pcs Wood Carving Kit has been restored!! They contacted me and apologized for my disappointment in the carving kit I received from them. They offered to refund my money to correct the problem. I told them I would just like to have the damaged knifes replaced. They offered to send me a complete replacement of the carving kit. When the replacement set arrived, all the knifes were perfect. They were sharp with no chips, nicks or blemishes on the knifes. I am very satisfied with product I ended up with and would not be afraid to continue doing business with this company! I was impressed as I opened up this knife set and began to explore everything that came with this set. Everything was nicely put together and appeared to be of good quality. However, I was greatly disappointed when I began to inspect the cutting edges of the knifes. The Wave Chisel had an actual dent in the middle of the cutting edge making the edge uneven where it cuts into the wood. The Multi-Purpose Knife had two chips of metal missing along the cutting edge and an area that still had a rough burr left on it. The Chisel with the angled blade also had at least two chips of metal missing along the cutting edge and an area that had a rough burr left on it. The Bend Knife had chips of metal missing along the cutting edge and a fair amount of the cutting edge that still had a rough burr left on it. In addition, it also had a rough area on the top of the knife that appears to have been ground by a grinder and left very rough. The remaining five knifes all had good cutting edges and only one or two needed to be stropped to eliminate some remaining burrs. I thought I would write to the company and see if they would replace the four bad knifes. However, I couldn't find an email address or any customer service contact information. I thought maybe they read and responded to reviews left on Amazon but it does not appear they look at these reviews. I guess the only options I have are to return the set to Amazon or try to resharpen and re-bend the knifes. I realize this is a beginners set but, this would be enough to discourage a new beginner if they tried to use the bad knives.

**UPDATE: 5 Stars. Previously rated this 2 stars but gave them a second chance and they’re really good! The seller contacted me and apologized for the experience I had with this set. They explained that it must have just been a set that shouldn’t have been sent out and offered a replacement set. I was hesitant but I’m glad I gave them a second chance! The replacement set was really sharp and noticeably well oiled for sharpness. The first time could’ve just been bad luck. Disappointed that the knives in this set are dull right off the bat. It comes with a leather strop but I didn’t expect to have to sharpen them brand new. I’ve ordered other whittling knives and those always arrived sharp and ready for use. It looked like a nice set but dull knives are unsafe and the handles felt a little flimsy. Not a good value for the price, there’s less expensive sets that are sharper and better quality.

These were a fantasy value. Everything you need to get started wood carving. The classes are extremely sharp which is wonderful. So many times I have ordered chisel or carving knives only to have to sharpen before use. These were ready to go! Love the leather case too!

This is a nice set. I sharpened them up after receiving them. But the set and the case is nice.

Was super excited to get my set and start on a new hobby. Once I received them I noticed the rough out blade tip had a bad bend in it. I was able to straighten it out. I inspected the blade and noticed that there where nicks in the blade. I checked out a couple of the other knifes and one tool is loose in it handle. The others also had nicks in them. There where a couple of tools that seemed in good condition. I tested the rough out knife on some bassword and it was super difficult. I used the included strop in case it just needed to be sharped and even then it was difficult. The included gloves and finger guard are nice to include. Some of the finger guards fabric started to come undone after I tried them on one or twice. Then gloves and good and the leather roll it came in are nice along with the leather covers they have for the tools are nice. Wish the blades were decent.

I bought this for my son that is getting into woodworking. I have to say i was pleasantly surprised when it arrived. Shipping was fast and it was bigger than I thought it was going to be. Very good quality and the bag/belt that it came in is great. I 100% recommend this. Great value for the price
