I have to stop thinking there is a quick fix for everything! Thought this was a good idea. Looked simple enough to install. First, the plastic material is thin and easy to cut and punch through. You measure what you need or in my case, I started by riveting the top and then stretched through the area I needed via to cover and then cut. The tape is held in place by plastic rivets. They are relatively small and really hard to hold- I kept dropping them because they are very small and slippery. The other side of the gate I was covering is littered with plastic rivets! To boot, I turned my back and my dog ran off with one of the bags drooping rivets all the way to my kitchen- where I found the half chewed bag and rivets all over the floor. But I digress! Hate these rivets! No sooner did it start to get hot and it was easy to pop them off the plastic. I don’t anticipate these will last long in 100 degree heat and wind! Overall it looked ok (gate that I did). But stopped there as I didn’t see much need to torture myself over something that will last a few weeks at most. Also, if you have arthritis- avoid this product at all cost! As well, better installed with two people on opposite sides of fence or gate. I found installation to be difficult and very frustrating! As I said above, I don’t expect this installation to last once the hot winds began to blow. I think you are better off using the aluminum version for a fence- albeit quite a bit more expensive! ... show more
