The media could not be loaded. It’s larger than my current pencil/pen case. I mainly use pens which are much thicker than pencils, it fit 40 pens and room for more. The side zipper pocket opens to the main compartment and has additional slots for pens or other items. The quality is decent for the price, texture is similar to a water repellent fabric. A carrying handle on the side makes it convenient to carry. Perfect for the art student, could also fit a protractor and small ruler or calculator with less pens. I bought this one after I bought a similar one first. This one has more room and I've actually turned it into my travel make up bag. I love the front zipper to get to my make up brushes and the zipper on top to grab everything else. The inside pockets are perfect for holding little things like nail clippers, tweezers, cotton swabs. I was worried that this would be too big for my granddaughter's backpack. They must carry around all their school supplies at school because there are no longer any lockers. This bag will carry a good portion of her pens, pencils etc and will be easily found in her backpack. Nice strong material. It will last quite awhile. Yes it does hold a lot but what I don't like is once you get the back bag area filled up to the little nylon wall then the pens start to spill over. If you only access the area from the top and dig around then you can put a lot! of items in there but access from the front is when the pens spill over. Also, the zippers in my opinion are backwards. I feel as thought i must be left handed in order to use it. ie: close is the left and open is to the right. It's a good sturdy bag which holds a lot. The banded area holds thicker Sharpies and smaller fine liners, mechanical pencils, Micron pens without being sloppy. It's a good purchase I'm happy enough with. ... show more
