Since most of my trips are 1-3 days, I’ve come to prefer travel backpacks over carry-on suitcases. The AirVault travel backpack caught my eye with its expandable storage capacity through vacuum seal technology. There are endless choices out there, but the AirVault stood out from the rest. It offers more features than the big brands, with the right dimensions and versatility to meet my needs. The pricing is also very reasonable and competitive with other options. If you’re looking for a sleek, minimalistic travel backpack that doesn’t scream “I’m on a trip,” AirVault is a perfect option. It’s compatible with the vacuum pump I already own, which saves some coin. I also didn't want a side strap as it's just additional weight. I’m happy to report that vacuum compression is not a gimmick. Using the pump, I could fit twice as many clothes than usual—enough for a 2-3 day trip, and up to 5 days with efficient packing. The bag was comfortable with plenty of padding and support. I used it as a day pack for customer visit, and it didn't feel excessively bulky. The AirVault is well-made, high-quality, and durable to last through many trips. My only minor gripe is that it takes some effort to open the vacuum compartment. After pinging customer support, they assured me it’s built to withstand regular use and there's also a lifetime warranty. The support team was extremely responsive and helpful.

So I bought this bag with no expectations. I wanted to carry something that was more manageable that a carry on and my carry on was a bit heavy. I figured I wanted to try a backpack but I did not want to compromise on storage space. And this is where this bag comes in... So this bag has the viral vacuum storage bag. I was easily able to store a week's worth of clothes here (and I am a bigger person here - 3XL). I ws able to also store my travel CPAP machine in the inside pocket, and still have space for my other things. I love the back pocket for my iPad and laptop and like the fact they are well protected. The bag does have a wet storage pouch which comes in very handy. I bought the option that includes the pump but I also used another pump and it works. Pro tip - the advantage of getting the option with the pump is that this pump is small but it also comes with a travel lock so the pump wont activate by mistake. Couple of other things: the zippers are high quality and feel premium. As a bigger person, the straps are comfortable and they do not dig in. I like the material doesn't make me get sweaty as they have good ventilation. And perhaps one of the best things I like about this bag - the charging port and the little pocket to put in a wallet. The perfect bag does not exi- yes it does.!!!! This one!
