It offers a range of sizes, including child, youth, adult universal, and adult oversized. Crafted with a 200-denier polyester shell, this adult life jacket is nothing short of durable. It also features a lightweight Poly-E flotation device inside the jacket. Both materials work together to provide optimum flotation power. This life jacket is exactly what we needed. We visited a water park with our 11 month old and were told that the only floaties they allowed to be brought in were coastguard approved infant life jackets, otherwise we would’ve had to rent one. We had no problem bringing this life jacket in and using it. Our baby is 11 months old, is 29in tall and weighs 18.5lb. She didn’t like it on her at first but once we got in the water and she leaned back, she was so relaxed and floated with ease. The head support is like a pillow, keeps the head elevated and kept her ears out of the water. I’d let go of her completely and she’d float with ease. The material is great too, didn’t bother her at all. We appreciate the 3 buckles on the chest, which hold on very sturdily and are easy to tighten/loosen. The buckle that goes between the legs was also sturdy and holds the life jacket down so it doesn’t push up and squish the face. With swim diapers on, she didn’t even notice it there. The life jacket says it works for littles up to 30lb, so we’ve got another year to year and a half to use it. We plan to take it to the beach with us this summer and try having her on a kayak with us just around the shallows. Looking forward to it! Very happy with our purchase! ... show more

As new parents who love boating, finding a reliable life jacket for our 18-month-old was crucial. This Airhead infant jacket has exceeded our expectations in both safety and comfort. The Coast Guard approval gives me confidence we're using proper safety equipment, not just a swim aid. The fit is excellent for the 15-30 pound range. My toddler is on the smaller side at 22 pounds, and the adjustable straps provide a snug, secure fit without being restrictive. She can move her arms freely but there's no way she's slipping out of this jacket. The crotch strap is essential for keeping everything properly positioned. What impressed me most is how well it keeps her in the correct floating position. During our lake trips, she stays face-up effortlessly, even when she's wiggling around or trying to splash. The bright colors make her easy to spot in the water, which is critical for safety. The construction quality is solid - no cheap stitching or flimsy buckles. After a full summer of regular use, washing, and sun exposure, it still looks and functions like new. The foam maintains its buoyancy and shape perfectly. First time taking our grandson out on the boat with us and I needed a life vest for him. I've used products by Airhead before, and I've always had good luck with them so I decided to order this vest. It's US Coast Guard approved, fit him perfectly and we felt that he was very safe while in the boat. The vest has three straps around the upper torso and one that goes under the body, between the legs. This strap is important for younger children as it keeps them from slipping out of the vest should they fall into the water. The best is made of good quality materials and provided plenty of flotation when we allowed him to go in swimming. Although it is intended for adults, it does seem a bit on the small side. This was gotten for a guy who is 6'2" and it just seemed "small" but it did fit and it does work and the price was a good selling point but I would definitely do more research before purchasing. These are great for an infant. I wanted to know my son had the right jacket and not rely on someone else to size him and give him a used jacket that may be worn or have a defect. I decided to buy this jacket so I knew I had a newer product ge could use anywhere he went and it is great. I noticed the buckles are a little higher quality with a more premium feel than those on a lot of the cheap/generic lifejackets. Straps seemed the same way as well. I appreciated this kept their head in place and is designed to keep them afloat. Please be careful around water with little ones. A split second is all it takes to see a tragedy. Read your manual, watch a youtube video, and make sure you have all the equipment secured correctly before you get out on the water. This device is a great choice. Almost didn't purchase this life jacket as many of the reviews indicated that the sizing of the vest, even the super large size, ran small. In fact, I almost ordered the super large size, but instead decided to take a chance and buy the adult universal size. I thought there is no way the company's description and size chart could be as way off as some of the reviewers suggested. Anyway, I am pleased to report that the adult universal size fits me just fine. I am 6'0 and weigh approximately 184 pounds. The only explanation I can think of as to why so many complain the vests runs way too small is either the reviewer got the wrong size by mistake OR the reviewer did not loosen the straps enough. Right out of the box, the vest will not fit most adults. You need to loosen up the straps quite a bit to open it up. Once on, you want a nice snug fit. Also, I like the fact the pad on the back is not too thick. Should make riding in a kayak with a high seat back, comfortable. All in all, its a good vest for a good price. ... show more
