I have this line attached to a small float. It is used on a diving boat where currents can be not so fun to deal with. The line is just the right length to toss out to divers so they can use to get back to boat (or be pulled if last one). It has worked great and not discolored or “slimy”. It is rinsed once returned to port each time…so simple maintenance is a good practice. The line does not kink up like some others I have seen. The braid is tight enough where so far it has not snagged on anything. After attaching the end throwable float, braided the end back onto itself to have float permanently attached. The other end was also braided with a permanent loop that rapidly attaches to the boat cleats. ... show more
