I only have small painting projects to do around the house, and these are just about ideal for that. The rolls are small and pocked-sized, not particularly thick but thick enough for blocking off trims and protecting areas I don't want painted. Stickiness is good enough with no residue left behind, and even in a hot garage during the summer, I had no issues with the tape drying out or melting sticky residue. These rolls are so small and lightweight that it's easy to toss two or three into a tools bucket that attaches to the top of my ladder and always have plenty available. Plus any roll easily fits into a pocket.

It’s fine! For $1/roll it’s as expected. It’s not nearly as thick as the scotch painters tape but it’ll do its job fine. Annoying as heck is that each roll is individually wrapped. Lots of plastic waste.

This tape does not stick as well as name-brand blue painter’s tape. I had to press it down and rub it repeatedly to make sure it stuck. While it left no residue after peeling, this may be due to the poor adhesion. For this reason, I don't recommend this tape for important painting projects. I found the tape thickness to be comparable to name-brand painter’s tape. I mainly use it for small-format watercolor painting in my sketchbook, as well as for crafting with wood and model painting. One positive is that this 6-pack kit came with smaller rolls of 22 yards each, which is more convenient for my needs compared with the more common 55-yard rolls.

I have rental properties and am always painting, and I am usually making a mess doing so. Using tape is the key to avoiding that mess, and having just the right amount of stickiness is essential. I have come behind painters who used regular masking tape, and that is a mess to get up, especially if it is left on for any amount of time. This blue tape functions perfectly because it removes cleanly with no sticky residue left behind on the trim or walls. The rolls are a smaller size that fits nicely inside my tool kit without taking up too much room. It has a good width that prevents paint issues, avoiding the risk of being too thin like some other tapes on the market while not being unnecessarily wide. The paper material is durable enough to hold up against wet paint but still tears easily by hand when you are applying it. This six-pack is offered at a very reasonable price compared to the major name brands. Here is something you might find helpful: pull the tape away from the wall at a 45-degree angle while the paint is still slightly tacky to get the absolute sharpest line.

This painters tape is not the large diameter rolls that some people like to put over their hand onto their wrists to carry and use, these are smaller at only 2.5" diameter when new. This isn't a real negative to me since the smaller role can fit easily into a pocket or around the handle of a brush or some paint rollers to keep together between projects. Each roll is individually wrapped so that could have some benefits to people or possibly it keeps the tape fresh longer in storage. The only negative thing I found is because the tape is not a solid uniform color as some are, while this has no impact on the performance of the tape, it makes finding the end of the tape on a new roll incredibly difficult! Since the tape is also thin, I couldn't feel the end with my fingernails and the pattern almost makes it camouflaged. I was about to take a razor and waste a bit to cut the tape when I was finally able to find the end. It has not been any problem since, just the factory edge is so clean it made starting the roll difficult. The tape is thin, but plenty strong, so I found this to be a bonus because it isn't very thick it is easily fit into corners and seems like it seals better than other cheap tapes that are thicker like regular masking tape. I tried leaving a piece on a wall for several days rubbing it down hard and it came off clean and I see no residue. I also tried putting this on glass and also did not see any residue at all. Overall this is a great value high quality painters tape that works better than some more expensive tapes I have used in the past. I didn't see mentioned anywhere how long it can be left on, but most projects I have removed the tape within a couple of days.
