    • Wide Toe Box Shoes With a Good Fit but Average Insoles

These barefoot-style shoes have a nice wide toe box, which is the main reason I like them. My toes can actually spread out instead of feeling squeezed, and that makes a big difference for walking and standing. The zero drop design feels natural, and the faux leather upper looks clean while still being easy to wipe down. They’re lightweight and flexible enough to move with your foot, and the overall fit in the wide size feels right. The insoles are the one area that falls short. They’re not uncomfortable, but they aren’t very supportive either. They feel a bit flat and basic compared to the rest of the shoe. You can remove them, which helps if you prefer a more barefoot feel or want to swap in your own inserts. The color pattern gives them a classic look and they slip-on easily with my shoe horn, no need to tie/untie considering they are a casual shoe. Quality seems decent for the price, and the style is simple enough to wear casually. If the insoles were a little better, these would be an easy five stars. Definately room for wide feet even for cinderblocks. Not comfortable at all and even with inserts for orthotics do not help much. These would make good squat shoes or hang out shoes not for work. Good news is that these should stop pronation.

    • Nice stying but hardly barefoot

If you're used to wearing barefoot/minimalist shoes these will disappoint. I was taken in by the styling of this shoe thinking that they may be a good, cheap alternative to Ohne or Feelgrounds. It has a clean, classic style with really nicely balanced overlays and lines. Unfortunately they hardly feel like barefoot shoes. The sole is very thick and inflexible, and there's no ground feel even after taking out the thick insoles. While the toe box is decently roomy, the mid foot is very narrow and you can feel the stiff uppers dig into the sides of your foot with each step. The corners of the stiff tongue also dig sharply into my ankles causing pain and chafing. They also feel heavy and clunky.
