In addition to straining paints that may be prone to clumping, this is a really good way to test the viscosity of your airbrush paint. I have an ink I use that can be prone to clumping and using these little strainers has COMPLETELY solved my clogging problem. The little needle is super flimsy and bends easily so it's kinda useless, but the strainers will get used. ... show more

Tried this with some apple barrel paints mixed with some thinner for airbrushes and poured into the paint cup through this. No clogs more than usual. That makes this a great tool if you can complete the process and don’t use airbrush only paints (which do t need straining).
