So air quality for us is a high concern. We have an HEPA air purifier in my son’s room and in the main level of our house. But we were lacking one in our upper level where our master bedroom is. This one fits our needs. The Air Purifier is rated as an H13 True HEPA. Directions/instructions are very clear and easy to follow. Filter access is through the back of the unit and is replaceable. Filter comes enclosed in plastic wrap to reduce contamination during shipment. The ability to add essential oils to introduce fragrance to your clean air is an option that is not available with some other units and is a nice benefit. As with most air purifiers, you can hear the fan noise when it is running and depending on the level. The night mode reduces the fan speed and therefore the noise. The Auto function determines the pollution or PPM (Parts Per Million) contaminates in the air and will increase the fan speed to address the cleaning of these air contaminations. Timer function is conveniently adjusted between 2, 4, 6, 8 or 12 hours and good for energy saving. Allows you to set up timer intervals for your personal needs. Even though we have a HEPA Air Purifier in the main level. We have noticed the difference of air quality in our upper level after a few days of usage of this unit. ... show more

***Edit - its now September 5, 2023 and its telling us the filter needs to be replaced. Whike they arent that expensive hust keep that in mind. We have other aur purifiers in our home bought at the same tine and stilk going string *** We had major construction done our home...our entire concrete slab had to be grinded down several times after our flooring failed. Unfortunately the company wasn't considerate to clean up after themselves after they work which left us with concrete dust everywhere. Being immune compromised I began having major issues breathing. We got this to run upstairs while we ran another unit down. This little machine is amazing. It's got a sleek design so it's easy to leave out when it's not on. It runs with minimal noise unless you're right next to it and even then it's only as loud as a fan. I love the different settings it had. We haven't uses the essential oil option but that is a nice function. It's on the larger end but not any bigger than a bathroom trashcan so it's easy to find a space for it. We noticed a hug difference just after an hour or so of use! We recommend all the time! ... show more

This AMEIFU room air filter is great. It says its rated for 1000 Sq ft, but I'm using it in a 400 Sq Ft room. There are several settings and options that can fit every need. There's timer, auto, and manual settings for the fan depending on your needs. There's also a night mode that lowers the noise and fan speed. I prefer to leave it on auto though and I've found that keeps my air fresh. It typically defaults to the lower settings in auto which is nice. As for noise: this fan filter can run quietly or loudly depending on your settings. I have this in a bedroom and find the noise level to be perfect. After a few minutes it sounds like a quiet white-noise machine on the other side of the room. As for air flow, I like the design. The air enters on the rear of box and exits through the top. The vents on the top are angled to send the air up the wall instead of into the room. I like that in a filter because I don't have to worry about a fan blowing on me when I just want to clean the air. I've been using this for a few weeks now and I'm really pleased with the results. I had a smaller unit before and I've noticed a marked difference in the amount of dust in the air with this one. Recommended. ... show more

Here in the Pacific Northwest Summers have been terribly Smokey the last few years. This unit is going to be a Breath saver. The Filter is easily accessible from the rear panel on the unit. My first few tests have been great. I love the PM 2.5 meter display, so we can tell exactly what our Air quality is inside our home. Anything below 35, is great air. When fire season comes, we have had years where even with all doors and windows closed, it was still very smokey in the house. We are hoping this unit will do the trick. My first tests look good, as you can see the air quality gets better the longer the system runs. The Timers and sleep mode make it a breeze to operate.
