We live near train tracks, and as much fun as it is to watch the trains go by (I love trains!), they leave a lot of diesel dust in their wake. If you like a bit of white noise, when this machine is on medium, it makes just enough white noise for my insomniac son to get a good night's sleep. I have to have absolute quiet, and I never hear mine going at all. 2. Does your phone get hot and sluggish? Cooling it in the refrigerator works, but the moisture in the refrigerator can damage it. I got this to stop my clothes from smelling like smoke so far so good only had 2 weeks, will update for go down to low/sleep mode too soon. Oh let me check the filter & add coconut cream essential oil,oooohhhh smells amazing been on high 3 hours so far I've bought 2 fixing to buy my 3rd I wish the 50% off or $10 coupon was still there maybe I'll wait out ask seller for a discount. I like the three settings and their size. I put one on each side of my bed. What I don't like is the light at night, so I had to turn the controls away from my sight. An auto feature would be great, but for the price,these are nice for a small room.

I love this little guy! The air in my home is much better andddddd my allergies aren’t as bad! Only con is when I want it at it’s highest mode it turns to sleep mode after a while and doesn’t go back. But it’s not a huge issue.

It was recommended in a book that we have them for long better health. We have no current problems. They were affordable. The noise level is acceptable. Sleep is when it is turned off. They are relatively small so they are easy to place. There was no explanation about how to get replacement filters and how to know when the filter needs to replaced. We have no idea about whether replacement filters are easy to get. That is why I listed the review as 4 stars. It is very is likely that one was returned as it was missing any paperwork and the cords were wrapped differently. ... show more

    • Average Small room Air Purifier
The Air Purifier is small in size and will only be effective in small areas like the bedroom. It draws air in thru small holes on all four sides of the unit and passes it thru a round carbon & Hepa Filter cartridge where it blows put the top. It has a round closed recessed area in the center of the top with sponge and round plastic cover with holes that you can add essential oil to. The air flow does not pass thru the sponge so it's not very effective at dispersing the scent. It has three speeds: in Sleep mode the fan speed is very low and might as well just leave it off. Slow speed however does not make that much noise so I use that for sleep. High speed is where the filter is actually going to be the most effective. What I don't like about this Air Purifier is that on High speed it automatically slows the Fan to slow speed after maybe 90 mins. The indicator light shows it's in high but the fan turns on low speed. I suspect this was cost cutting measure designed this way to prolong the life of the fan motor rather than upgrade to a longer life motor. You can vacuum dust from the filter to prolong its life but if it's filtering smoke you will need to replace the filter to be effective. Instruction show a 3 month filter replacement cycle. Replacement filters are $19.99 each but if you buy a 2-pack you can get the cost down to about $15 each. ... show more
