I use my backpack for many things! The zippers are sturdy and slide easily. I like that it has two zippers for the main backpack in case I am carrying something long that needs to stick out of the top.

Ok, so for any kid nasa aficionado this is great. It is made well and should make it through the school year. As a parent looking at this from a utility point of view It has flaws. A) side pockets could have been made with a wide elastic rubber tape instead of cloth material, that would allow to put a water bottle of different sizes, as it is now this is very tight. B) the boxy look is supposed to resemble the nasa look and it does, the problem with that is the edges make it a challenge for the zippers, a wider zipper would have solved that issue, as it is now it requires your kid to be more patient. Mine is not. C) The shoulder straps are designed in such a way that it will only allow 2 lengths because the straps have nowhere to go if you decide otherwise. Again, a simple loop would have solved that problem instead of a clip button introduced by the manufacturer. Apart from that it is well built, sturdy, fits the needs of a elementary middleschool child. Oh I forgot to add that I purchased velcro seatbelts padding.
