This part arrived as promised and was the correct part. While not a major project to replace, still smart to take out air filter box so the replacement of this part goes smoother. It seems this is a common problem part that needs replacing the original part tends to break after years of use. (**a side note here-since the throttle body is tough to get to and not readily available, you WILL see it after taking off the defective air intake hose. Since you now have easy access to it, I’d HIGHLY recommend being ready with a throttle body cleaner to thoroughly clean the area BEFORE reinstalling the new air intake hose. It only makes sense. I’ve watched YouTube videos on how to replace the air intake hose, etc. where this little tidbit of info is not given. But I like to know that little ‘finds’ like this make TOTAL sense! I mean, the area now easily accessible, take advantage of an opportunity before replace with the new hose?! It’d probably be another 100K before you’d be replacing this hose again**) The replacement part was of high quality and very reasonable which was a huge plus! Sliding the ends of the tube back over areas went easier when I simply wiped the edges of the opening of the hose with a bit of silicone spray on a rag. After doing that it slipped on so much easier. I also might recommend making sure both clamp closures face you before installing. That only makes logical sense. One of my clamps arrived on the hose facing away from me. Having said all of this, I believe this part will fit the bill. For a change, the part is an inexpensive fix. But, you’d be into probably a $200+ tab if you had a shop do this. Good luck with all.

This fit my 2012 Honda Pilot EX-L. My OEM (17228-RN0-A00), intake tube had the common split in the folds. The Pros: It fit as expected. It feels flexible , robust. and durable. This was easy to install. The price point was great. It saved me $40 from OEM. The Cons: The tube clamp screw have different head sizes. One is 8mm and one is 7mm. The little clamp is a spring type. The OEM clamps have slots in a different location so if you use them, be prepared to have the tightening screw head in a different location. Overall, It fits and it works and was a great value.
