The media could not be loaded. My car had a check engine light on with a logged P0101 fault code. For my car, that fault code was related to a "Mass Air Flow Sensor" inconsistent behavior. This could mean the sensor itself or its related electronics including the car computer is failing or some other external forces between the sensor & engine is interfering. After some inspection of my car's air intake system, I found a torn air intake duct that would let air bypass the Mass Air Flow Sensor. I ordered & installed this Air Intake Hose to replace my torn OEM hose. It resolved my check engine P0101 problem. Installing this replacement aftermarket air intake duct was straightforward. There are included 2 band clamps that secure the air duct in place. The molded air duct has the same keyed points on both ends of the duct to match to their intended mounting points to fit only one way. So if the air duct doesn't seat flush to their mounting points, then check that the keyed points are matching up correctly. The air duct fit perfectly and functions well with an airtight performance as expected. The air duct is made out of a thick rubberized plastic that remains supple and freely moves with the engine vibration. The included band clamps are stainless steel, held together with a hex head bolt that can be adjusted with a hex socket or a Philips screwdriver.
