Not being a gardener (though I plan to start after I build a raised vegetable planter) I don't know how to rate which tools are included in the kit versus not. I've never even seen the L shaped cutter though it's obvious what it's for and how useful it'll be. I usually use pruning shears or a machete for that which can be a pain. My first impression was how the metal used for these tools is reasonably thick and has noticeable weight. I like that, I think that can help letting the tool do the work whereas a cheap light set is more difficult and requires more wrist strength (for me anyway). Having had surgery on both wrists that is a concern for me. The gloves are super thin, I guess intended to keep your hands clean but still allow a sense of touch. I prefer heavy gloves that I use for yard work, but again I'm no gardener so don't feel a need for thin gloves. The bag is a good size, much bigger than what is needed solely for these tools, and that's a bonus. ... show more
