Cracks and breaks easily, but protects your phone from slips, drops and falls. I currently have one more cover left to use out of the three I started with a couple years ago. The obscuring of view is from left to right of the screen, so if somebody is directly behind you or in front of you, they can still see what's on your screen. Also, the screen protector doesn't cover the full screen. You can still see a little bit of light on the edges of the screen cover and leaves a 2-3mm space between the screen cover and the phone case.
