I think the style would fit better on a dog's frame, but it does the trick. I have a young cat that is very skittish, but full of curiosity. I didn't want to let her outside loose because there's a good chance she'd get scared and just bolt. So I found this harness after some searching and reading reviews. I noticed when she crouches down it doesn't give her much room for how her shoulder blades move. Over all I can get a snug fit and she never wants to stay outside long, so it works. Now she takes adventures on our enclosed patio. She watches the birds in the woods behind us and sun bathes on the nice days. She's happy. 😸

I NEVER write reviews but I had to for my fellow small dog families. My min pin came home at 3lbs started with an XXXS harness from a different brand as he started getting bigger and outgrew it in length he still could wiggle his tiny arms out sliding backward. We went to a size XXS, way too big he just slipped out. I then bought 2 other harnesses same thing his tiny arms he’d maneuver his body to slip out backward. I tried this one because it Velcro’s and it is GENIUS. I wish I had it from The very beginning. He is now 6.5lbs and we got a size XXS. Fits like a glove and the first one he cannot wiggle out of! Get it!

I purchased the S size for my 7 month old Pomchi and it fits perfectly adjusted to the smallest size, so it should fit him as adult size. I love how easy it is to put on him and take off. Update, I put his new id on the id holder and he got it caught on a friend's shoelaces twice and was stuck to my friends shoes, so I ended up putting his id on the 2 rings on the top of the harness and cut the id ring on the bottom side off. No issues since then.

This looks good on my pup but the rings that hold the leash are not secured to each side of harness--meaning instead of securing one side to the other as most rings do, they are simply loose and only hold the leash, but do not secure the sides, so if the dog pulls hard enough the sides could pop open.

I ordered a Medium harness in blue and orange. It’s very nice looking. Maybe it's our pup, but she weighs 13 lbs, chest and neck fit the dimensions and max weight for that size. It fits snugly, which is probably good as she’s an escape artist when something gets her attention. The one thing that is a bit problematic is there’s a strap adjustment buckle between the leash connecting rings. They barely touch when connecting the leash to both.

it's a wonderful little harness and it looks and feels sturdy. unfortunately my little one is just too small for it, even though it should fit her. The holes are just so big that it slips right off her shoulders and goes around her waist. Unfortunately this is the smallest i have been able to find and it saddens me that it's just still too big.
