I never leave reviews but this is was totally worth one. I bought this case knowing that it’s not actually an OtterBox but it is designed well enough that it should hold up pretty well. I’m going to change that “should” to definitely!!! I left my phone on the hood of our car after stopping to drop everyone off to a friends gathering. After my girl came outside to park the car about two blocks away in public parking, I realize I left it on the hood about 30 minutes later. On my way to the parking area Murphy’s Law kicked in… I knew that my phone could have fallen off anywhere between the party and the parking spot. I had my fingers crossed hoping that since it was a little late I’ll get lucky and nothing actually happened to it. My lot changed when I heard fire engines and sirens going off coming down the street. I started to freak out and started rushing down the street looking left and right and unfortunately I didn’t get to the parking area anytime. After a major car accident, four fire trucks and two ambulances drove down the same street while I was looking for the phone. It turns out everybody was OK in the accident… But I found the phone and the middle of the street that all four fire trucks drove down. I had my fingers crossed that my phone was still on the hood of the car but we all know because I’m leaving this review that it wasn’t. When I found my phone it was in the middle of the street about 20 feet from the car. At least one of the four fire trucks drove over my phone. I should’ve taken a picture of it with the tire tracks on the back of the phone but I wiped them off as soon as I got it. I was kind of panicking because I’ve only had the phone for about three months I couldn’t believe that I let this happen. When I turned it over I saw the cracks and my heart dropped. I put a screen protector on it additionally to this case but just knew that with that kind of weight the phone was screwed. After touching the screen to find out how bad it was messed up… I was completely caught off guard and surprised that everything worked perfect. It didn’t just work, The screen protector cracked a little bit but the case protected the phone completely and the phone itself never got a dent or a scratch. I have to give The screen protector a little credit from the rocks in the road but 99% of the credit goes to the protection this case gave. I’ve seen hundreds of phones broken from friends and family for the silliest reasons...even with cases. This one survived a fire truck driving over it. It may not be an OtterBox… But I have to give it two thumbs up for quality. Good job guys!

Seems perfectly fine. It’s a Chinese made counterfeit Otterbox. Hard to believe it’s legal. Update 3 years later: I’m still using it and it’s protected my phone well. All the little clips that hold the internal case together eventually snapped off and I got frustrated with the covers for the lightning port and the sound switch and just tore them off. Ultimately none of that impacted the functionality. I was thinking about buying a replacement, but not sure why. For the price it’s a great deal. It’s cheaper now than it was in 2019. If I find one in bright blue I’ll get it. Black isn’t that easy to spot in a pile of iPhones.

I like the case. It is sturdy. The only down side is that the clip is little flimsy. I am always afraid I will break it if I pull the clip to put it on my belt, or turn around side ways so I can use it as a stand. The whole mechanism is a bit dodgy.

I ordered the caee with everything. I ordered for my grandfather. He loves this kind for case. It has everything that he wanted. It was very hard to get a case that has a front cover and a belt clip. My grandfather does alot of work outside so the clip is good for him. The case before this was bad for him because he put it in his back pocket and cracked the screen. Now with this new case he doesn't lose his phone and it is protected from cracking in his back pocket.

If you’re looking at this review, you probably want to know how this compares with an Otterbox. Short answer: extremely well. The phone fits perfectly (my iPhone 7+ rattled a little in my last Otterbox), the padding on the back of the case is great - photos made it look rough. The buttons/cutouts are lined up correctly. The phone is very snug in the belt holster, so much so that I would advise you to go slow when you take the phone out - tilt, then gently lift out. The outer material is as grippy as any other case I’ve had. I also bought a glass screen protector and the case doesn’t interfere with it. All in all, a great protective case. It's amazing that they can come out with a case that fits perfectly within weeks of an iPhone's release.
