Our cat absolutely loves these, they are his favorite toy by far. He will spend hours tiring himself out with them. I believe these are a perfect cat toy because they're light enough to glide across the floor, and the springyness means most energy put into is translates into movement. These things move as fast as your cat can sprint after them. If you're wondering if you really need a big bulk pack, I can tell you that we live in a 300sqft studio and only have a few remaining because our little guy takes them all with him into the cat dimension. My cousin adored our cat's engagement with this toy, so I gave my cousin one of each color for his cats. His cats couldn't care less. Our older cat enjoys these; but she's shy (and the younger one has bullied her a fair amount when he was a kitten), so she avoid these springs as any sound they make will summon him. These are durable, we've stepped on them and you can't tell. They're easy to clean. The cats don't chew them apart to make choking hazards or digestive issues. They are simple but effective. My new kittens carry them around in their mouths, bat them in the air, actually play fetch with me with them…such a simple toy provides a lot of entertainment. And they seem completely harmless. I’m frankly somewhat amazed.

The media could not be loaded. As you can see in the video, Nica from the time she was a kitten, loves playing fetch with the springs. She’s a little over a year old now and still chases them to bring back to my husband or me to have us toss it again. We play this game daily. She also has become a soccer player with these and at times drops them into my purse or lunch bag to share with me. I first bought a bag of 30 and recently bought another bag, this time if 120, since Nica bats them under furniture pieces and they are difficult to lift to crawl underneath to retrieve. I prefer the springs that are around 1” in diameter and 2” in length because Nica can’t get her entire mouth around the diameter. I had read a post on a cat Facebook page where someone found there cat choking on a spring but that spring was much narrower. So I just feel sharing this info is important for a cats safety. Our Nica has never had any choking experiences and I feel they are safe. These are inexpensive and I have purchased them along with a variety of other toys as gifts for my sister’s cats and my niece’s cat too. I feel sturdiness and durability, when asked to star them in the the Feature reviews are basically similar. They don’t break since they are plastic so I consider them sturdy/durable. I hope you enjoy the video. I’ve had cat owners state their cats don’t fetch so I guess Nica picked this ability up on her own. The cats spread these all over the house and enjoy chasing them. The springs are small and will roll under the sofa and tables so you'll find them when you least expect it. Theses are very neat, my lazy cat could really care less though. Tried getting something to bring the “kitten” out in him, but he would rather eat all day. They are really sturdy feeling though, not cheap.
