I ordered one of these fogger units and it seemed to do really well. It does produce a stream of water that shoots up and produces the fog, so using this in an outside environment is ideal. I use it in an outside fountain which works perfectly. The unit initially produces a lot of fog and with the LED lights it offers a great show. I was so impressed with the first unit, I purchased a second unit (same model). The second unit however, seems to have "melting" marks on the outside of the unit after using it for only 2 hours. The A/C adapter for the second unit was also very warm after the initial 2 hour use. The second time I used the second unit I smelled a burning odor after only 1 hour of use. I expect the second unit to stop working very soon after only 3 hours of total use. The first unit I purchased is still working fine, however it seems to produce less fog after only about 4 hours of use which suggests that it is already needing a new "fog disk" to be inserted (the unit comes with 2 new fog disks). All in all I would say that these foggers are cheaply made (made of plastic not metal) and I would rate these fogger units as "disposable" after a period of time and use. How long a new unit functions is a "hit or miss" depending on luck with what you get. ... show more

Added this to my witches cauldron this year. Just wish you could change the color of the light rather than it just going through it’s programmed light changes. Other than that it’s most/fog effect is too cool. I will be getting two more to get the effect I’m going for in my cauldron.

It serves its purpose in the Calderon for my spooky vibes but I can’t select the color and it splashes the water out of the tray therefore I have to refill the water tray every 2 hours 😞. So if your looking a fog maker that you can select the color of the water, this is not the fog maker for you.

It doesn't fill my small witches cauldron with fog. I had to prop the fog maker up to the top of the opening for you to even see the fog. But it is easy to use and I can make it work for what I need.

I used this in a plastic cauldron to create a smoke effect for a trunk or treat. I usually use a fog machine, but those require too much power without a generator. I was able to run this off of the AC outlet in my truck without and issues and it created enough 'fog/smoke' for the effect I needed.
