I am actually really impressed with this little MP3 player! At first, I wasn’t sure if it would just be a toy, but it’s definitely a real device with some great features for kids. The 80GB of storage plus expandable memory up to 512GB means there’s more than enough room for music, audiobooks, and even some kid-friendly apps. The Bluetooth and WiFi make it feel modern, and I love that it works with Spotify Kids, with our kids, we control their screen time and apps, and this is a great alternative to a phone, that allows for safe streaming without me having to worry about what my kid is listening to. The parental controls are easy to set up and give me peace of mind, especially since kids are naturally curious when it comes to technology and learning as fast as we are how to download and explore new apps. The screen is a nice size at 4 inches, big enough to navigate easily but not overwhelming. It’s lightweight and sturdy enough for younger hands, and the battery life has held up well so far. Overall, this is a fantastic alternative to handing over a full-blown smartphone. It gives them the freedom to enjoy music and streaming in a safe way, while keeping me in control of what’s available. For the price, I honestly think it’s a solid investment if you’re looking for a safe, kid-friendly music player.

This is a great device to give to your kids to keep them occupied during travel etc. It's basically a phone without a number or SMS messaging. Everything else is there and functions great. Video is crystal clear with no latency. Audio is about average through the included headphones but works great via Bluetooth. I played .mp4 and .avi files with ease. It comes with a 65Gb TFF card which can be replaced with a larger one. Parental controls can be set for the Chrome browser. There is NO play store capability. I use it as a video player on my patio. I attached magnets to the back and stuck it to my merchandising refrigerator. Paired it with a Bluetooth speaker and now I can watch my favorite shows while sitting on the patio by picking up where I left off on my home computer by signing into Chrome and YouTube. The battery life seems sufficient as after a half hour of running WIFI and Bluetooth the device lost about 15% of it's battery which is similar to a cell phone. I can also use it as a picture frame/slide show to display all my photos. There's also a FM radio built in that works great. There must be headphones connected for the radio to work. This is easy to setup as most know the Android operating system. There is no camera in this device. I have evaluated many media playing devices and so far this one is tops and a great value for the money. This device comes with a protective case, headphones and a USBc data ready cable. Moving files to the device was a breeze as it was just plug and play. I Highly recommend this device for children, adults and geeks like me.

I have learned that. in general, "kids" means older, slower prcessor, usually obsolete. In this case no real information is provided about the processor, even in "about tablet". The fact that it is running Android 9 says something, that it can not run a current version of the OS. Android 9 is enough to run a stable version of Spotify, and most music services. The player itself works, but barely. What I mean by that is that it does not have enough ram or processor speed to multitask. When I went to reset time and date while rthe player was connected, it dropped the connection. You can not be using the player and do anything else. Setting the time and date is not a very processor intensive task. The only thing which makes this a "kid's player" is the variety of child friendly cartoon images in the gallery, and preloaded on home and lock screens. It came wity a large yel;low bunny but I have changed iot to a duck, one of the alternate images supplied. It also has parental controls, as do all android devices. It does not have children's games preloaded like mopst of the other kid's devices(phones, tablets, music players) that I have tried. The best feature of this player is it's large, bright touchscreen. Ity has larger than typical icons to appeal to kids? The player does work, hut do not try to do anything else with it while it is running (a music app). Usuall I wouldn't, but I wanted to update the time/ date/ region, and see what I could find out about the processor, ram and storage. It comes with 16G of ram, 8 of which is used up by software. It has a card slot so you can have lots of room for music files, or photos... but can not really run programs on an sd card. In short, it is a competent player, but really just average.It is well priced, and you do get what you pay for.. In short, this is not an exceptional player, BUT it is a pretty exceptional price for a player with both blur tooth and wifi (currently $39 on Amazon). The build quality is very nce for a pl;ayer in this price range. I would rate the player itself 3 stars, but added a 4th star because it is very good for a player under $50.

This AGPTEK MP3 player is a great device for kids! The interface is colorful and intuitive, and the built-in apps like Spotify Kids, Audible, and Kindle make it super versatile. We love that it has Bluetooth and WiFi, plus parental controls for peace of mind. It's lightweight, easy to hold, and the sound quality is surprisingly good. One small downside is that every time you power it on, it takes a few seconds to load the startup animation before getting to the home screen. It's not a dealbreaker, but something to keep in mind if your child gets impatient. Overall, it's a solid media player packed with functionality at a great value.

Couldn't get YouTube or YouTube music without being connected to the Internet and using the internet. Without being connected to the internet, it is kinda like to old iPod touches.
