I enjoyed playing The ABC Murders. I was worried how what seemed to be another point and click was going to play on the Switch, but it wasn't too bad. The controls were a little wonky when walking around and rotating objects (ugh, the worst). I did love that it was fully voice acted though! The music was really phenomenal and really set the tone of the game. I only wish it were longer. The game is pretty short which makes me glad I got this one on sale ... show more

So, I got this game for family game night for like $20.00 and it was totally worth it. Super easy to play, fun story. Not overly long, we spanned it out over the course of 4 nights? I think. Some of the puzzles are actually difficult at least for me, I am by no means a major gamer. All in all it was a pretty fun choice. The mechanics were a little tedious. The puzzles were so-so. The animation was probably the most interesting part, but began to wear.

The game broadly follows the events of the novel, but as the game concludes, feels like they modified more to rush to the end. Game has limited replay as there is no significant variation to the story based on choices and puzzles are always the same. Game glitched several times during puzzles, requiring me to restart the puzzle and sometimes needing to shut game off and back on just to reset a glitch. Slow paced, intriguing and fun. Similar to reading a book but one you interact with. The characters are enjoyable. I have never read Agatha Christie's work but I really enjoyed this but it feels like this has the quality of the the author. It's definately worth buying!

Amazin Raisin's review is spot on. Very difficult to play and maneuver. The puzzles give you NO instruction or direction. Super frustrating.
