I love everything about this product!!! I’m sure that there are several different ways to use this Leave In Cream but I’ve found that following the directions on the jar works best for me!!! I apply it to my wet hair and I use my fingers to “rake” or “shake” in my curls. I then apply a small amount of the Curl Cream and continue with the rake and shake. My curls are always popping and my 4bc hair looks exactly like I want it to look. Where ever I go I can always expect someone to stop me and asked me “what do you do to get your curls to pop like that?” I simply say African Pride 🤷🏽♀️ I’m hooked!!

This is not the same company I bought from the last time and I did not notice until I got the product. This particular batch is like glue. My ringlets came out in the in the sink. Lost an hour and half from work to wash it out. No moisture here my locks would ball up vs curl. I am so disappointed and I am returning it. Also first use some irritation on my scalp. Formula must be off. I even compared it to what I had at home. It is not the same. Shame on you!!!!! I feel I have to start over with my natural curls and I am not happy.

Beware beware beware natural type 4 hair girls!!! This product is trash! I couldn't figure out why my hair was drenched in white flakes after two uses of this product in one week which is outlandish! We all know how hectic wash day is so imagine having to do two wash days in one week?? Can you feel my pain?? This is the worst product I've ever purchased and I feel so bamboozled! Maybe they pay for their reviews because it's no way that these buyers are not waking up to a winter wonderland on their head after using this product! Do not buy this you will regret it! I'm shocked because African Pride has great products but this one needs to go back to the drawing board because this is unacceptable and I am pissed!! I never thought I would be able to say this but this product is worse than CANTU and everyone knows that Cantu is the King and Queen of flakes and white residue!! Originally bought this in local store but when I need bulk I come to Amazon. This product line has not let me down I was about to give up on my 4c hair I’ve had a journey with it and my in law told me to try a bit on my hair it instantly hydrated the strand smelled amazing and defined my coil. the next day I went and bought the whole line I also gifted the shampoo conditioner leave in conditioner and curling cream for three different households in my family. They all loved it.

Smells great. Great leave in conditioner that doesnt weigh my hair down. It also works great for my finger coils and its not even a CURLING/COILING CREAM! My coils and curls lasts for 3 days with the conditioner. I also use the actual curling cream too but I dont have to. The conditioner curls my 4B hair just fine! But I can use either or, my hair will behave the same with either product. Please note that I have been rocking coils for the last 2 yrs. So my hair is trained to coil/curl up and stay that way for long periods of time. This may not be as effective for someone just starting out.
