Decent guest bed. I did have an issue with the wood screws used to fasten the latch assemblies that keep the bed closed, 3 of the 4 broke off when I screwed them in. Weird that 3 of the 4 did, even with pre-drilled holes. I am going to have to get some additional screws and move the whole latch assemblies up, because there is no way for me to drill out the broken screws. As with many of these "flat pack" items, the directions are a bit lacking. Even with some serious studying of the pics, I did manage to get a couple of the pieces assembled backwards, and had to redo them. Just made it take more time. The quality is pretty much what I have come to expect with these flat pack pieces, mostly "pressed board" with a thin veneer, the top appears to be solid wood tho. I was able to put it together in about 2.5 hours, including the "redo time" so not bad for just one person. I do recommend an electric drill with an allen wrench attachment, makes things go so much faster! I do wish they had pre-drilled holes for the small wood screws when putting on the thin veneer back of the chest, it would have made it SO MUCH EASIER to get the pieces on straight and even! That is one time 2 people would have really helped. The number stickers were exceptionally difficult to remove, and unlike other furniture I have put together, these stickers are in very visible areas. There is one odd white paint spot on a lower corner. I have ordered some furniture markers and hope to be able to hide this. Not sure where white paint came in for a toffee wood colored piece. I do like that the mattress is 6", many of these beds have only 4" mattresses. Even with the 6", I can still feel the frame when I sit on it, not so much when I lay down. I am fairly small, so someone heavier may have an issue, the foam is pretty soft. I may have to find a mattress topper, we will see. It is difficult to find shallow fitted sheets. I think I will just use flat sheets for the top and bottom, and hope i can find a mattress pad to "sort of" fit. There does need to be some sort of "handle" when you are folding out the frame, I am having to grab a leg in order for the whole frame not to drop onto the floor.

I really like everything about this however this is a weird gap at the front of the unit that is not good to look at.

Pictures are deceiving, mattress is not 6 inches. Mattress is so close to the floor. Wood feels cheap, I don’t expect a perfect piece of furniture but hoped for something that more closely matched the pictures.
