  • Bright Citrus Flavor, Fresh Aroma, and a Versatile Pantry Essential
This Spice Way orange peel granules have been a really useful and high-quality addition to my kitchen, especially for baking, cooking, and homemade spice blends. The first thing I noticed is the fresh, natural citrus aroma when opening the bag. It has a strong orange scent that immediately smells authentic and not artificial, which is something I really appreciate in a dried spice product. The granules are uniform and dry, making them easy to measure and use in recipes without clumping. The flavor is bright, slightly sweet, and pleasantly citrusy. It works beautifully in both sweet and savory dishes. I’ve used it in baked goods like cookies and cakes, in teas for a light citrus infusion, and even in spice rubs for meats. It adds a clean orange note that enhances recipes without overpowering them. One of the biggest advantages is how convenient it is compared to fresh orange zest. Instead of needing fresh fruit every time, you can just scoop out a small amount and get consistent flavor. Many users also mention how helpful it is for baking and holiday recipes, and I completely agree—it saves time while still delivering great taste. The texture is fine and easy to work with, making it simple to mix into doughs, batters, and spice blends. It distributes evenly and rehydrates well when used in liquids like tea or sauces. Another thing I appreciate is the clean ingredient profile with no preservatives, which makes it feel like a more natural pantry staple. It’s also very versatile, working in everything from marinades and baked goods to homemade teas and cocktails. From my experience and what others commonly note, the biggest strengths are the strong aroma, consistent quality, and wide range of uses in cooking and baking. It’s one of those ingredients that quietly improves a lot of recipes once you have it on hand. Overall, this is a high-quality, dependable orange peel product that brings fresh citrus flavor to many dishes. If you enjoy baking or experimenting with flavors in the kitchen, this is absolutely worth keeping stocked. ... show more

  • Great taste, natural orange peel, high quality 🍊
Great for turning into a fine natural orange powder and adding to your DIY LMNT or other DIY electrolyte mix and baking. Its granular already but grind it further into a very fine powder in my coffee grinder first. The picture is of a portion of the powder I keep in this little jar. The company has a very good reputation. ... show more

  • The peel has to sit in warm liquid to let the flavor release.
I use this in a few recipes, like Orange-Cranberry muffins, and in some orange sauces. Works well, and much less expensive than buying little jars, if you can find them, in the grocery store. Be SURE to place the peel into hot water or (better) heat the water and peel together in a microwave, and letting steep a little to release the flavor from the peel. ... show more

  • Perfect for recipes needing orage peel
Finding Orange Peel in a local store was proving to be impossible and when I saw this product I decided to give it a try. It has turned out to be an excellent choice and works well in the recipes for which I needed it. It seals back up well so it remains fresh and the amount should last a long time. The pouch is easy to open and therefore, it is easy to get out the quantity you want without any mess. ... show more

  • Orange peel granules
Excellent product! Full of natural orange flavor without being overpowering or tasting artificial

  • Low on flavor
Tried this for a short cut in case I didn’t have fresh oranges on hand but low on flavor. You would have to triple the amount or more to get the flavor you’re looking for. Might be okay for tea but not up to snuff for a baking recipe. Nice packaging prompt delivery. I’ll stick to fresh zest.
