    • Lovely little tree with one problem
I love the way the tree looks and fits in small spaces. I'm not even putting up my large tree this year. I've had compliments on the tree already. Now to the one problem: I turned on the lights for the first time tonight and they would not turn off! I know it says something like the lights stay on for 18 hours and turn off automatically, but I don't want to go to bed with Christmas lights burning, so I turned off the lights and they stayed on. I tried several times but they simply would not turn off even when the switch was on off. I had to end up opening the battery case and removing one battery before the lights would turn off. I want to buy more of the trees, but I wish this problem didn't exist. They're so small I could have one in each room of my apartment, which I would really love, but on the other hand, I don't want to end up with a fire, so if I buy anymore, I will probably forget about turning on the lights, if all the trees have the same problem. it's very pretty without the lights on, so it wouldn't take away from the looks of it, but I enjoy a tree with lights on it.     • Now THIS Time I Got the Right Tree!
I wanted to replace the six-foot, pull-up, hassle-less assembly, pre-decorated, pre-lit (choice of on, off, timer), battery-operated "pencil" tree I had with an identical one. I carefully (or so I thought) chose a replacement and ordered it on Amazon; but the tree I received was horribly beat-up looking, was aged, was missing a piece, and wasn't even pre-lit. I left a posting on Amazon and then threw it away. Then I found and ordered this one. Now THIS one is identical to what I was wanting (six foot pencil pull-up tree, pre-decorated, pre-lit, battery operated with optional timer, etc.). I am horrible at following instructions and even worse at putting things together. I'm older and also needed something lightweight that I could carry down the stairs to the shed without taking the chance of falling again. THIS IS THE TREE!!! It weighs around 2-1/2 pounds and even "I" was able to get it from box to up and ready-to-go in less than ten minutes. ... show more

I first ordered these some time ago before gaining popularity not knowing if I’d really like them. I must say I was quite impressed in how simple it was to assemble and disassemble. Timed/Battery Powered. I grouped them together in 3s with varying heights and place throughout the house. They receive quite the compliment. Three stars because the tree is overpriced, at least the price I paid. It is probably worth purchasing if selling at 25ish dollars. I also agree with the other reviewer that said it could use a few more lights. I purchased this tree because it is easy to put up. I wanted a tree for when the grandchildren come for Christmas. (I don't have capacity to put up a traditional tree with all the lights and ornaments.) I was worried when putting it together that I would have problems because the pipes to build the pole are very loose. It has to be set up exactly on the spot it is to stay as it quite easily falls apart due to the poles not sticking together. I hung a few 6" candy canes from the hoops and a bow I made years ago. The top of the tree has a sturdy loop so it is quite easy to add a tree topper. I think a few ornaments could easily be added to the tree, though I don't think it is really necessary. I also bought a 6' "Charlie Brown" tree that that was lit up at the tip of the branches. That tree was much harder to put together and a big disappointment. I sent it back as the pole was lopsided (leaning tower of Pisa) and the branches were separating from the base. If you are looking for an easy, nice decoration, tree to put up and take down - this is it. ... show more

    • Easy and Cute... easy way to fix the "Wobble"
The media could not be loaded. I like this tree because it is cute, doesn't take up any space, it is easy to assemble and you can store it under your bed. I added one string of these fairy lights https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B072NH2FQ1/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 They fit perfectly. I also ordered from Macy's a led wire tree topper that reads STAR (an unconventional topper for an unconventional tree.) TO STOP THE WOBBLE: I used those little rubber bands that girls use on their braids or you could use the tiny rubber bands that go on braces for the teeth. Just slip one on halfway on the smaller part of post, the slip that post into large post, the tiny rubber band acts like a rubber washer and holds the whole tree steady... took less than a minute.
