The AeroGarden 45W LED Grow Light Panel is a grow light that can be used in a wide variety of settings - this versatile light can be hung from above or tilted on its stand (hanging kit and stand included). It also rotates 360 degrees! The panel can be used for all stages of plant growth, from seed starting to flowering to harvest. The stand is sized perfectly to hold a seed starting tray. As your plants grow, the stand's legs adjust to raise the light up. This product measures 22.9 inches wide and 10.43-16.3 inches tall with the adjustable stand. The light panel weighs 2.6 lbs., or an additional 1.2 lbs. with the stand. This grow light contains white, blue, and red LED lights - white spurs fast growth, blue generates bigger yields, and red promotes flower growth. Plus, there is no harsh purple glare. Great product! Easy to use and works just how it should. You will need a timer to plug the lights into, but other than that it will get plants going strong. In the photos I have pepper seeds and everyone knows how long it takes for pepper seeds to sprout. This is 1 week after I planted them. Which is insane! On some of my other pepper seeds it took between 2 to 3 weeks. It is a good buy and I will most likely buy more of this product. It is a must have! UPDATE: I had to come back and update this initial review. I went from one of these grow lights, to 6. That 5 more than what I initially started as. Mainly because when I transplant I fit less pots underneath the grow light, but I can raise it with the stand. It's worked so well i might just buy more. Yes the stand is a bit flimsy, but it works and it holds the light up to a perfect level so who really cares? The plants are growing fast and I'm happy. Great product. Keep producing more! I’ve had these lights for years—loved them. Just discovered the company was sadly going out of business, so I bought a bunch while I could. They are easy to set up, compact, adjustable, do a great job providing full spectrum light for my plants and for seed starting, well built and durable, and provide the option of using the stand or the provided hanging cables and hooks. This is a great grow light - it is the perfect size for seedling trays and can be either used in it's stand or hung using the included wire system. It would be better if it had an on off switch, maybe on the side of the lamp bezel. I find it annoying to have to unplug it every day and it means I can't make the power cord very discreet (I have a small apartment and this sits out in my living area). There are cheaper grow lights but they don't often come with the telescoping stand this one does, however the stand feels a little flimsy. I haven't had any issues but the plastic is fairly light. And the lamp is hefty so it sways a lot of you bump the surface it is on. Overall this is a good product and it works great (plants have done well), but for the price I wish the stand was sturdier and that it had a switch. ... show more

So far, I have 5 of these grow light panels that I hung on my growing shelves and in a small greenhouse, so I don't use the provided stand. I grow a number of veggies and herbs indoors, and have found these lights work well for greens as well as flowering plants such as tomatoes. I use these panels on my grow shelves in addition to larger fixtures with LED tubes using chains and "S" hooks to hang them. These lights do come with a stand so they may be used on a countertop as well. For initial growth from seed, these units work very well. I have been using one of these units over dwarf bush tomato plants, and the plants are doing very well in both vegetative growth and production of tomatoes. In conclusion, I would recommend these lights over most LED lighting because they cover a larger area than most, but the lighting requirements of the plants you are growing must be considered,. Most green veggies require lighting at 6500 K. Since I haven't been able to find the Kelvin rating for these fixtures, I can't attest to the temperature of this lighting, but it is a white light that looks like daylight. The LED lights in this fixture are primarily white, but also contain red and blue lights arranged in squares. Considering the proportions of white vs. red/blue LED's in this light, it provides full spectrum lights. I checked the brightness of the light with a meter, and this lighting register over 1500 lumens about 4 inches from the fixture. Although there is no off/on switch, you can easily connect them to a timer. Overall, these LED grow lights offer more coverage than most LED grow lights, and the quality and brightness of the lighting is excellent. I have included a picture of one of my shelving units that has two of these fixtures. I am also using 3 more of these fixtures (1 per shelf) in a small greenhouse where I grow micro greens and watercress. The miniature tomato plants have been producing more tomatoes than we can eat without having salads every day. I have tried quite a few other LED grow lights, and, so far, have not seen the growth and development that I have seen with these fixtures. I'm not much of one to write reviews for products but this grow light is really great. I've had much more success with it than I originally thought I would - I've been able to grow a variety of herbs, leafy greens, green onions, and even bush beans under the light! The only limiting factor it really has is that it's small, so you can't grow large vegetables under it. It's very easy to adjust the angle of the light and I find it gives off enough light that I can put plants outside the "footprint" of the light as well as directly underneath it. I've been running this ~15 hours a day for 2 months now and I haven't noticed any overheating or weird smells or anything. The only downsides I've found are: 1. it's quite bright, which is great for lighting up a dark room but I find I have to close the door at night between my room and the living room where I have the grow light so it doesn't wake me up! 2. there's no timer built in, you'll need your own timer plug 3. It's a bit difficult to get the stand low enough when starting seeds/growing seedlings, I had to put something under the seed trays to elevate them. 10/10 recommend for any home gardeners like me! ... show more
