The setup is extremely easy and took me less than 5 minutes to get everything done. I've never played drums before and have always wanted to try it. It's too expensive to own a drum set so I gave this a try. It turns out to be an amazing product, each beat has vibration feedback, and one charge can last a long time (16-18 hours according to the manual, but I haven't tried to play this long on a single charge yet). I can't make any comment on how it feels compared to real drums, but it's really fun to play with for me.

I bought the AeroBand PocketDrum2 MAX for my son, and it’s been a great way for him to practice without driving the rest of the house crazy. Using it with the included headphones makes it nearly silent to everyone else, which is a huge win. The air drum sticks and pedals respond well and feel surprisingly natural once you get used to them. It’s not the same as a full drum kit, obviously, but for practice, timing, and rhythm work, it does the job really well. He can play anywhere, bedroom, living room, even sitting on the couch. Setup was straightforward with the Bluetooth adapter, and it connected easily. The different drum tones are fun to switch between, and having USB MIDI support is a nice bonus if you want to connect it to a computer or recording setup later on. It’s lightweight, portable, and easy to store, which makes it great for kids, teens, or adults who don’t have space for a full kit. My son uses it regularly, which says a lot. Pros: Excellent for quiet practice with headphones Portable and easy to use anywhere Responsive sticks and pedals Multiple drum tones to choose from USB MIDI adds flexibility Cons: Takes a little time to adjust to air drumming Not a replacement for a full drum set, but a great practice tool Overall, this is a fantastic practice option for drummers who want to play more without worrying about noise or space. My husband is a drummer and hasn’t played in years due to no room for a full drum set. I couldn’t wait until Christmas to give him this surprise. He loves them and I start dancing around all silly. Brought some happiness into this house. The slight downside is they don’t always calibrate correctly. I still highly recommend for a drummer in your life. It’s fun for them. The sound quality is great. I guess that depends on what you use for the speakers, he runs it through my old Bose Radio/CD Player.

This took a minute to get set up, but once everything was connected, it’s honestly a blast. Super convenient to play anywhere without a full kit—great for messing around, practicing rhythms, or just burning off some energy. It definitely doesn’t replace the feel of real drums (you’ll miss that bounce and feedback), but for what it is, it delivers. The tracking is pretty responsive, and the different tones keep it from getting boring. Only downside: the included earphones are pretty basic. They work fine, but don’t expect anything impressive...worth upgrading if you plan to use it a lot.

A real review from a drummer 1 the earbuds are trash . I hooked mine to a megaboom portable speaker and it sounds 1000x better . 2 no rebound 3 the sticks go out while playing a simple beat faster than 8th notes (vibration may stop temp. a different drum or symbol will play which is aggravating. for the cost of this you can get a used roland electronic set if you want to learn to play drums !! The only benefit is living in an apartment you wont bother anyone with the kick bass (which which while playing gets drowned out by the floor tom especially ! THIS IS A KIDS TOY THEY SAID THE SAMPLED 50K DRUMMERS . WELL IT MUST HAVE BEEN THEIR 1RST DAY BECAUSE EVEN IF YOU TRY TO DO A PARADIDLE AROUND THE SET IT WILL FAIL BECAUSE IT CAN NOT KEEP UP WITH SPEED !!! This is no way shape in any for close to a real drum set . You can not do double's on this or anything faster than 16th notes (and that's being generous ) . Once you start getting into a beat or groove the sticks vibrate ok nice but they also like any drumstick move in your hand so while your just trying to play the high hat and snare a tom or the crash just comes in . WHAT BOTHERS ME THE MOST IS THE PLACMENT OF THE CRASH IS JUST ABOVE THE HIGH HAT NOT IN THE BACK LEFT AS ON THE POSTER OR REAL SET !!! WHAT THIS IS GOOD FOR IS BASIC TIMING AND BASIC BEATS ONLY !!! worth 50$ at best
