  • Super easy to set up and use! Super easy to set up and use!
I am so excited to have this magical drum set! It is extremely easy to set up and use. Most importantly, it doesn’t take spaces! The sound quality is great and there is no lag at all. It is so much fun to play it and I would highly recommend if you don’t want to spend tons of money on a big drum set which takes a lot of space of your home! ... show more

  • Perfect for quiet practice, my son loves it
I bought the AeroBand PocketDrum2 MAX for my son, and it’s been a great way for him to practice without driving the rest of the house crazy. Using it with the included headphones makes it nearly silent to everyone else, which is a huge win. The air drum sticks and pedals respond well and feel surprisingly natural once you get used to them. It’s not the same as a full drum kit, obviously, but for practice, timing, and rhythm work, it does the job really well. He can play anywhere, bedroom, living room, even sitting on the couch. Setup was straightforward with the Bluetooth adapter, and it connected easily. The different drum tones are fun to switch between, and having USB MIDI support is a nice bonus if you want to connect it to a computer or recording setup later on. It’s lightweight, portable, and easy to store, which makes it great for kids, teens, or adults who don’t have space for a full kit. My son uses it regularly, which says a lot. Pros: Excellent for quiet practice with headphones Portable and easy to use anywhere Responsive sticks and pedals Multiple drum tones to choose from USB MIDI adds flexibility Cons: Takes a little time to adjust to air drumming Not a replacement for a full drum set, but a great practice tool Overall, this is a fantastic practice option for drummers who want to play more without worrying about noise or space. It’s been well worth it in our house. ... show more

  • A lot of fun; Needs better calibration.
These are a lot of fun, but I have to re-calibrate,A Lot! Also, Bluetooth audio sounds bad; so I use my Earbuds (Bluetooth from phone for music) with wired headphones from Aero Drum over my earbuds. Sounds fantastic, and did I mention how fun they are? Aeroband Suggestions: Please improve BT Audio, Buttons are in the way of proper drum stick ergonomics, Fix Calibration issues, Haptics Are Amazing! ... show more

  • PLEASE READ BEFORE BUYING! (Very disappointed)
Title: PLEASE READ BEFORE BUYING! (Very Disappointed) I rarely leave reviews let alone a negative one, but I honestly feel like I need to warn my fellow drummers before they spend money on this. No matter how many times I calibrated it, after a minute or two of playing the tracking would completely drift out of whack (you can look up youtube reviews, this is not just me being bad or not knowing what I am doing). The toms would suddenly register as the ride, the hi-hat would become the snare, random hits wouldn’t register correctly, etc. The faster you try to play, the worse it gets. It turns what should be a fun drumming experience into pure frustration. And honestly, I would NEVER recommend this for beginners. It teaches terrible habits and awkward technique because you end up changing how you play just to compensate for the bad tracking. For experienced drummers, it just feels unnatural and inconsistent. What’s frustrating is that this thing actually has a lot of good ideas. MIDI output is awesome, double bass support is cool, and including in-ear monitors was a nice touch. But none of that matters if the core drumming experience doesn’t work properly. Also worth mentioning: my first unit arrived missing components, so make sure you check everything in the box immediately. I REALLY wanted to like this product because the concept is genuinely cool, but the execution just isn’t there yet. Maybe a future version will fix these issues, but right now I can’t recommend it. Returning both units unfortunately. ... show more

  • I gifted these to my Brother
I bought this for my brother and he absolutely loves it. He's been a drummer since he was young and now he's in his 60's and said it's the best gift he's ever had. It's taken a little bit for him to adjust to not using a full drum set but after a week playing these he's hooked!

  • Great concept. I hope it has legs. You might want to wait for the next release (if there is one)
Aeroband Electronic PocketDrum2 Max (2025) – Great Concept, Flawed Execution This is an awesome idea, and the hardware itself feels high quality. The sticks feel like real drumsticks, and it’s obvious a lot of thought and technology went into the product. Setup and basic use are fairly easy and intuitive, which makes the initial experience exciting. Unfortunately, this is not a replacement for a drum set, or even a practical substitute. The drum components exist in virtual space and their positions are set by the software. You can recalibrate and re-identify where those pieces are supposed to be, but you cannot redefine or place them yourself—and within a minute or two, those positions drift anyway. This makes accurate playing extremely frustrating. It’s nearly impossible to strike one drum consistently without triggering another. If you just want to bang on something, they’re fun. If you want to practice real drumming, play along with music, or play with other musicians, these will quickly become frustrating rather than useful. I’m also concerned about long-term support. The app advertised on the company’s site doesn’t even include drumstick support anymore—only the guitar—which makes it feel like this product may already be an afterthought. Recommendations for Improvement (if the company continues development): Add a fixed reference component so the sticks can triangulate a stable position in space and prevent drum pieces from drifting. Allow users to manually place drum pieces farther apart to avoid overlap and constant mis-hits. Expand sound options by allowing custom or downloadable drum voices beyond the four included. In short, I love the concept and wish it succeeded. As it stands, this isn’t something you can realistically learn drums on. It’s more of a toy and an energy outlet than a serious musical instrument. ... show more
